Warriors are regular season tryhards. they're elite for sure but they go all out in the regular season. Just look at the minutes Kerr plays their top 4. I also refuse to give them too much credit for basically signing a top 3 player for nothing. The Spurs would look just as unstoppable if they had Durant.
Two MVPs on one team. Must be such a drag.

this team, they need to just tank and reboot for next season. They are just wasting everyone's team this year.

Hey, I try to be optimistic, unlike you who thinks anytime we fall behind we're gonna lose. Like that Cavs game for example. But please, continue to think we're gonna lose every game that isn't a blowout
Optimism isn't the same as the blind homerism you display constantly. All your posts put the players and coaches beyond reproach. When is it time to place blame in your eyes?

Maybe the Spurs vets know they're locked into the 2. Only ones hungry are rookies, and vets with something to prove/contract year guys (Lee for example).

Not sure where Patty's head was in this game...
And that's not totally abnormal, guys tend to coast at times. We don't win this if Murray starts or Anderson plays more or whoever else. At the end of the day it's on our big guns to take us home, and they've been sub par the last couple games.

I think Simmons energy is missed off the bench too, but there was no excuse for tonight. I wish others played with the passion that Lee plays with

Might be smart for the Spurs to start taking calls on players tbh. Get what you can for the pieces that won't be returning next year/whose value won't get better like Mills, Simmons, LMA, and Gasol. The next few drafts have some nice players and teams like the Kings/T-Pups/Nuggets are desperate to make the postseason. Spurs will be there regardless at this point but it'd be better to keep their goals realistic and see what they have in Murray/Bertans/Forbes/Dedmon.
    Not on Pop's watch.

Well, if everyone wasn't consistently blaming 1 person or the coach, there'd be more balance here.

Tonight it's easy to find blame. The last 2 games guys have been sloppy with the ball and shooting the ball poorly. Recipe for disaster. Kawhi and LMA have to do more plain and simple. Same with Patty and Green with their shooting .

Theres plenty of blame to go around. I'm actually dissapointed Pop didn't go to Bertans and went with Anderson too. He proved he can defend well and was hitting his shots.

There's plenty of blame. But when literally 90% of this site does is play the blame game, I don't need to. Some of it is overboard and childish

Nah, not the refs. The Spurs should have never put themselves in a position where the refs could have much impact. C'mon, man - the Mavs?!?!?!

On Pop's watch this team is going to flame out in embarrassing fashion in the postseason once again. He has completely lost it.

Energy may be missed but he's not some savior.... sometimes all he contributes is on defense, etc. He's not a nightly scorer and his role is small. Lamarcus shooting slump is the significant factor in both games. Just horrible inefficiency.

But it's okay for TD21 and Amused to bump their stupid threads every loss about the team being done, not legit championship contenders etc. I would much rather see bklyn's optimism than the same recycled takes that tampon wearing crew likes to bring up.

I thought this was suppose to be a transition year for the team too but here they are with still the 2nd best record in the league. People obsess too much over this team playing like the Warriors but they just aren't built that way. This team will fight hard when it matters. Let's not forget they are 4-0 against the top teams on the road. That's not some fluke stat but I'm sure it's ignored because optimism is apparently wrong on here.

When so many people call out the same problems over and over, it isn't a coincidence. Some of it is outlandish trolling like Porker is fat, Fathead, etc., but Pop's rotation and inability to practice what he preaches has been well-do ented for three-plus seasons now. It also cannot be denied that Parker has caused more harm than good since 2014 as a starter, albeit it's not all his fault (comes back to Pop's decision-making with the team).

I would rather see RC get a new head coach before other personnel moves are made. These guys are playing like the Bulls! Makes me wonder if there isn't something going on behind the scenes or in the locker room, tbh.

For sure, but sometimes that spark is needed. The team feeds off those dunks or blocks or whatever. Not saying it's a difference maker, but the lack of energy on the perimeter is lacking with him gone.

LMA.... I just don't know. Closed out the year well. He's just been so bad lately and I don't know what it is. Makes me miss Pau honestly.

At least they back up their claims with stats and analysis; I can respect that. Constantly posting that the Spurs are going to win and ignoring problems (and the players/coaches causing them) doesn't promote good debate or sway opinions. If that's all you want on a fan forum realGM or PTR might be more up your alley.
