    72-117.

That is the combined W-L record of the Mavericks, Pelicans, Suns, and Bucks.

We lost to all of them.

    Just some food for thought.

Tim wouldn't let that happen. We need some leadership.

Spurs have the 2nd best record in the league. No need for the entire fan base to go on suicide watch.

This is true but it is troublesome to see the Spurs losing to lottery teams at home. Maybe one a year in the Duncan era, but too many this year.

Product of modern NBA. Even the bottom feeders have a lot of talent with sophisticated offensive schemes. Pelicans dropped 124 and 119 vs Spurs and Cavs. 2nd and third best teams. Unless you're the Warriors, you can be had on any given night, especially this year. The days of middling teams led by Steve Francis are over.

Might as well add Orlando's record to it.

All of which were against some of the worst teams in the NBA.

This kinda stuff happened all the time on Tim Duncan's watch. Some of you guys must have forgotten circa 2004, 05, 06 where those guys would just blow games against terrible teams randomly. Maybe not two in a row but dropping stupid games like this happened all the time, glory dayers.

you don't even have to go back that far. This happened even in 13, 14, and 15. You know how it is though, people want to romanticize and have a revisionist history.

The Warriors are the only team in the NBA that has enough talent to consistently look great without falling into mini-slumps, tbh..

Spurs have a ton of players that don't have a reason to consistently play hard during the RS, especially since there's a cushion at the 2 seed..guys like Parker, Ginobili, Green, Aldridge and Manu aren't going to be hungry every night during the RS, they aren't playing for contracts or trying to prove themselves or fighting for a spot in the rotation..

Cleveland is going through something similar, which isn't surprising, since they're the oldest team in the NBA(also have a bunch of players that aren't going to consistently play hard during the RS)..

Over-analyzing every game and possession is for fans, tbh..

As I said in another thread, I'd take this over some of the historical beatings our guys would take against Portland.

I'd much rather lose to bad teams than good ones. The season is long, sometimes they don't get up for the garbage teams.
losing to clips, warriors is much worse
