Trump thinks Frederick Douglass is still alive. Twitter’s response is hilarious.
In his brief reference to Douglass, President Trump said that the pro-immigration, anti-racist legend of American politics and government was “an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice.”
Sean er, his designated White House spokesman, didn’t do much better at clarifying Trump’s remarks on Douglass,

In Douglass’ bio, someone added, “On Feb 1, 2017 in the White House, President rich asshole said of him, “Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job & is being recognized more & more I notice.”
