That's the reason why I want that stadium to stay away from Austin. SA can have the cool things. I'll drive down to enjoy whatever is there.
Funny thing, the Alamodome has unintentionally been a good thing for the city

UTSA Football, son. There's the Alamo Bowl and Final Fours too.
I'm cool with the Raiders not coming (not that we had a choice) though. It's bad for UTSA football and the Spurs. Would much rather get an MLS team, tbh.

Of course you would,
Also happens to be the majority in SA and South Texas. We are a good market for MLS, tbh.
Floptrop, bring on Handegg.
I love the NFL, but MLS games are much more fun and affordable to attend (exception being that Jets-Colts MNF game we had where tickets were going for $5). 2 hours tops and easier in/out, and sport is actually better in person vs. football being made for TV despite most players not being household names.
SA could easily support an MLS team.
Screw the Raiders, we should have grabbed the Saints when we had a chance a few years ago right after Katrina. Benson was ready to move them too. Always thought the San Antonio Saints had a nice ring to it.
althought I would love to have a football team here, a soccer team or even baseball team makes more sense with the Latino fan base.
If we had an MLS team I would probably go to a few games, went to a couple Scorpions games and they were a decent time
No one watches mls
Are they going to build the stadium on the other side of the wall? Maybe we can make Mexico pay for it too.
They were never coming any more than Red McCombs Vikings were
the NFL. No way this city should be giving a franchise a billion dollars to build a stadium. Let Las Vegas have them.
Put a 20% tax on refried beans
