Don't really see how tonight can be worse than the Warriors losing last year, tbh. They had three chances to close out Cleveland.

With that said, Hillary was the worst.

a LOT more than 2 different occasions, tbh. 5 runs up with 2 out, many times just a strike away. Neftali Feliz is a swear word around here forever
It never ceases to amaze me how Nelson Cruz gets a pass for sandbagging on that fly ball. He had a postseason for the ages but he's the #1 culprit imo

6 wasn't a choke job. A 2 possession game with almost 30 seconds left is very loseable.

The Spurs losing to TMac years ago, the 13 points in 33 seconds, now THAT was a choke job.

Last year's Finals and 18-1 are bigger chokes than tonight or 6, tbh.

I personally was at game 6 in Shea stadium back in 1986. Biggest choke job in person.

But tonight is biggest choke in sports history.

Seahawks losing was a lot worse than tonight IMO..

Atlanta's loss was historic, but at least it was a collective meltdown that spanned an entire quarter..

Seattle's came down to a single play where just had to run ONE YARD WITH THE BEST RB IN THE NFL THAT HAD SPENT ALL NIGHT DESTROYING NEW ENGLAND

    No...

    1) Tonight's SB
    2) Spurs 6 in 2013
    3) Rangers 6 in 2011
    4) Trump over Hillary
    5) Cleavers over Dublets
    6) Cubs over Indians
Sounds about right. Spurs in 2011 was almost as bad as 6. 20 straight wins, 10 straight playoff wins, a 60-16 record heading into OKC and they lose four straight in the conference finals.

Na, 3-1, because Falcons didn't come off a 7300000000000000 regular season.

I'd take out the Cubs over Indians and put in Pats over Hawks as CD suggested. Cubs were actually favored in games 5, 6 &7 individually. Them being down 1-3 was a bigger surprise then the comeback, tbh.

The Warriors up 3-1 game 7 loss to Cleveland in the 2016 NBA finals was the worst choke job I have ever seen in pro sports. The Falcons losing the Superbowl to the Patriots up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter is the second biggest choke job ever imo.

As bad as game 6 was the Spurs had 4 rings. Atlanta had been waiting so long for this shot. They will be answering painful questions about it forever..

Even though they are not directly related, the Spurs' beautiful games dismantling the Heat in 2014 helped take the sting out of 6. Although 6 "still hurts", the Spurs response moves it down the choke job list. Patriots/Falcons is number 1.

    6 :

    - Greatest NBA statement / screw you media/ never made
    - Best back to back never to happen
    - 4th time, 40y/o Timmy FMVP lost

6 is the biggest ever because it means the most to me

    There, settled

TBH besides us Spurs fans, I think 6 has blown over a lot of people's heads already thanks to the warriors blowing a 3-1 lead

I think there was another error sprinkled in there, but the pitching and decision making was the real culprit. I don't like that they intentionally walked Pujols with the bases loaded (IIRC). They also walked some other guy to load the bases on a different occasion. Giving up 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th is downright historically putrid.

But it's whatever. The Rangers will always be doomed to fail.
