Scenario 1:
- Where did god come from?
- It's an unanswerable question
- Why not save the step and just say the creation of the universe is an unanswerable question?
Scenario 2:
- Where did God come from?
- God always existed.
- Why not save a step and say the universe always existed?
That loop only fails with Christianity.
The very problem with this loop is that it tries to apply Human and Earthly restrictions to God himself.
The universe can't possibly create himself because creations don't create things. However, A God that is All knowing, eternal, Capable of all things can.
That's the problem with the atheist appraoch. It always fails to understand that God is Eternal, all knowing and capable of everything.
Also, according the Quran ( You won't find this in the corrputed white washed christianity) The Universe was a something that turned into a rose like appearance ( exploded through heat) and will continue to expand until Allah tells it to stop expanding.
How can a bedouin possibly know of this Modern theory. There is no way a man from Arabia 1400 years ago would have known this.
