Did you see all the wide ass open looks Kawhi created for other folks? Not his fault that his teammates miss shots without a soul within 20 feet of them, tbh.
Nobody is saying he isn't good. Playmaking and leadership is what really carries a team more than just scoring.

The man can only do so much. At some point, he needs help. Even your Harden has some other playmakers and/or shotmakers around him.
How can you make players like Tony Parker, patty Mills and Danny green make open 3s djohn?
lol one bad game. They are all shooting 40% from three for the season.
Kawhi has multiple 3 point shooters around him shooting 40% for the season as well.
Okay? So we wouldn't even be talking if the other guys did their job. You're trolling. I see now.
Parker carried a team to 54 wins with Roger Mason as the 4th option.
It's some spurfan acting like he doesn't have any shooters around him at all that is wrong.
Lol what?! Those guys are shooting 43%, 42%, and 39% from 3 this season.
Yeah, because Kawhi gets them open looks. So your original point is moot. Way to shoot yourself on the foot, tbh.
Kawhi is getting them open looks? Seems like if those guys are shooting 40% from three on the season he would be getting more than 3 assists a game.
Yeah, because everyone knows that the guy that causes the defense to shift always gets the assist.
Anyway I will admit that Kawhi's playmaking was the thing that needed the most work at the beginning of the season, and he's doing just that. Since the year started he has improved his playmaking skills dramatically, specially his pick and roll game from the top of the key. Dedmon has been having monster games thanks to Kawhi.
As if it was his fault they lost
And they're not the worst team in the league. If anything they're underperforming with a Porzingis/Anthony/Rose core. How can a team with three current or former All-stars not make the playoffs in the eastern conference??
Either LA is shot as a player or he does not fit in here. He is so passive and looks like his game is maybe 60% what it used to be..
Spurs players not named Kawhi Leonard shot 18-of-58 tonight = 31% FG..
One word= PATHETIC.
Don't sell the media too short though brah. At least we're not living in the early 2000 anymore.
On topic, always amazed me how Malone won the MVP after Jordan champioshup
It went
another fraudulent
If you play all season in San Antonio and get two trips to NYC a year (some of which are midweek or on a b2b) wouldn't you go out too? As long as you don't do it in the postseason.
They're people just like everyone here. If I travel to a boring city for work, I'm asleep early and up early. If I'm somewhere fun, I'm cutting it close the next morning for my flight out.
There are very few Kawhis out there. Probably only one.
Its so difficult to evaluate how much is mental, how much is role, how much is chemistry. At this point it's safe to say that the bigger the name, the bigger the flop, and as much as I defend pop it's on him to get the best out of everyone. I think it's a stretch to say all of kawhi's teammates are TOSB. Won't be the first time Spurs lose in the po because shooters don't make the looks the offense creates
Doesn't matter, Spurs have a better record with Kawhi carrying them as a one man team than Rockets do with James Harden making everyone else better, or Russell Westbrook supposedly doing it all himself. If Russell Westbrook gets praise for being a one man team, why isn't Kawhi who has a better record than anyone not on Goldenstate?
So all those Championships Jason Kidd and Steve Nash won as elite playmakers are the way to go huh? Would you rather that over someone like Kobe who is a leader and average playmaker? A guy that won 5 rings?
