This describes 100% of UNT girls?

Did you really go there or are you just imagining what college is like based on memes?
Dude, have ya ever been to Fry Street during the fall or spring time on a thursday, friday or saturday night? It's a rotten combo of hipsters that I described (millennial ones), ugly old s 30+ that smoke a pack an hour, and ratchet gangsta-rap culture millennial blacks. Yuck.

I've been to UNT campus and Denton plenty of times recently. Naturally, as a college town, there's going to be more unconventional-looking people than other places but it's not the majority and certainly not everybody.

It sounds like the problem isn't your type.

A third bachelor's degree? You're wasting your money.

UT. I've disliked that school ever since my sop re year in high school on a field trip up there. The layout of the campus is awful and their grading system is re ed. Their sports teams suck ass. Plus it's uber liberal and hipster, not just the college but all of Austin. Denton is far right by comparison. Couldn't get paid enough to live in that hole.

TAMUCS was an interesting case and I definitely regret not going there. Yeah, it might have cost me a little, but not too much and all my HS friends went there. Plus it's the most conservative university in Texas. I kind of regret not going there, I will always regret that, but it's water under the bridge now. Problem was my HS senior year, especially the last semester after being confirmed valedictorian, I wanted two things: 1) FREE college, and that meant free, and 2) a fresh start, away from everyone I knew in HS... but I'll regret that one forever.

No, my mom didn't pay my bills (she was a subs ute teacher the past year and had a sub-$25k total income for 2012) so I paid my own bills w/grants and scholarships in college. Valedictorian exemption waiver automatically scored me free tuition my first year. I also worked for $11.50 an hour as a T.A./tutor my last 2 years as an undergrad though all my fellow student faculty were grad and PHD students. Graduated in 3 years total, from fall 2013 - spring 2016.
Lol no, Johnny poorboy here did 2+2 because of that whole lack of $$ thing you claim to know a lot about. Being the first college graduate of any kind on my dads side (dad didnt even grad hs), we treat even the associates as big . I know, my working class pleb pride is showing, but it, I dont GAF about your old money.

& no it doesn't describe 100% of UNT girls, if you want a breakdown I'll share one from an inside perspective...

Let's throw out the "going back to school" old ladies for a minute. The rest are --

    hipsters & s - 30%
    plain janes/uggos (usually nerds, a few heroin/meth addicts) - 30%
    blacks - 25%
    mexicans that don't fall into category #2 - 5%
normal, pretty non-sorority girls - 5% (but most of them are education majors)
sorority girls - 5% (many are attractive at first glance, but for some reason, at UNT most of them smoke)

The other thing that sucks ass in Denton is the entire nightlife is just bars. That's. ing. it. No clubs, no raves (for those of us millennials who like to dance and jump in a frenzied crowd to loud upbeat music but NOT necessarily s out to get drunk), no singles clubs, no karaokes and dance type places where guys and girls can naturally meet each other for the first time and exchange numbers, hook up or even start a relationship. Some college towns and other places have those, but not Denton.

In Denton, if you don't have a pre-established group to go out with at night, you're pretty much ed and you're 99.999999% likely to go home alone and bored wishing you'd spent your time playing games in your apartment (or dorm if you're a fishy) instead. Because all it is there in the Denton bars is pre established groups. They look at a male newbie loner as if he has leprosy, a weirdo, or simply isn't there. Going to Fry Street or the Square alone at night is so boring. On the plus side, it's pretty safe because it's a low crime town and there's tons of police. But that doesn't help you get laid or a girlfriend.

The only non-"mundane bar" I can think of in Denton is the Rockin Rodeo that's in an awkward location south of campus in an old dying strip mall near the I-35 construction zone. It's country, it's conservative, but it's well over 80% old s. The remaining millennials that do go there are all coupled and practically everyone smokes. It's lame-o.

The thing I do like about the Denton bars is they're very Cowboy-centric, full of Cowboy fans, mainly older non college students that smoke, but that isn't a big deal as long as I stand back when they've got their annoying cancer stick lit. The screens at the Denton bars provide a better showing of the Cowboy games a lot better than they do in my current area of north Dallas. And they generally don't make me leave if I'm not ordering food or drink, either, like the snobby bars here in Plano/Frisco.

I'm not gonna lie... the first time I ever got laid in Denton was at a backyard bonfire party the Friday night before homecoming Saturday... well actually I didn't get laid that night, but I did meet the girl, Danielle, I ended up getting laid with that night. (We exchanged numbers that night and the ensuing Monday we dated at Movie Tavern and went back and had sex in my apartment.)

I got there because I was invited to the address via UNT on Facebook. It was the perfect party I'd been waiting for since starting the university, because it was actually a normal party with open-minded, normal young people who weren't necessarily political or uber left or right or weird or fratty or cliquey or activists or anything. They were just "normal" people in their early to mid 20s of different majors and races, probably majority white but all-inclusive, just wanting to party and have some fun and meet people, and it was a good night. I wanted more of that BADLY!! Where were those sort of parties all along?

The sad part about that was, it wasn't my first nor my second Homecoming weekend at UNT. It took me until the 3rd ing October to get me any UNT pussy. Jeez.

UNT parties in a nuts --

Type 1) Twerkfest apartment party, ghetto, ratchet, usually 99% black, I look awkward as as a whitey in there even though I went to a couple of those because of lack of anything better to do... mostly in spring and fall 2014.

Type 2) Frat house/frat hosted apartment party... exclusive, invite only, usually like $40-60 for an invite as an outsider if they'll even let you at all.

Type 3) University hosted union "party"... can you even call these parties? I don't. The only university hosted party that was ever fun was the one my freshman orientation where we actually had a real rave party, yes there was no alcohol but it was still fun because there was jumping, dancing, grinding, heat and sweatiness, loud music... but they don't offer those for actual present students. As for the union parties, they're REAL boring. Go if they offer free food, that's about it. No alcohol, nothing personal, sexual or risqué about it, no foul language in music, no jumping, dancing or commotion, basically no fun, attracts a lot of dorks and very little else, usually pretty dead in there... waste of time.

I found a special type 4 that ONE time... and it got me laid. Now where were those "normal" melting-pot parties all along?

It was more like 6: Clinton missed her free throws and head just squeaked out a W as a result.
The goal was to win the Electoral College and Trump cleaned her clock pretty good.

Meh he won Florida by 1 + 2/10 points, Michigan by 3/10 of a point, Pennsylvania by 7/10 of a point, and Wisconsin by 7/10 of a point. If the election skewed 8/10 of a point more in Clinton's way she would have won 278-260. Give her 1 + 3/10 of a point and she wins 307-231 instead of losing 232-306. I don't see how this can be spun as anything but a really narrow win for Trump.

Democrats ran their bestest most experienced most qualified candidate ever against a novice who has been a punchline for 30 years. It was a crushing defeat no matter how you spin it.

I'm not saying it's not a crushing defeat, it is. Did you not find 6 a crushing defeat as a Spurs fan even though it was an extremely tight game where the le came down to one missed Kawhi Leonard free throw?

I still cannot believe that Trump won, bum. I wish the time twixt the victory and the 21st of January would have lasted longer. You know, freeze time in that time frame. We weren''t on the clock, the scoreboard hadn't been plugged in. The victory tour: every appearance the exact same itinerary. It fit Dale's bill to a T. Repeating the same malarkey over & over & over again. I love that . Every time he'd say:::"The men and women who have been forgotten, will be forgotten no more." I'd ing tear up every single time. I'd call Girl in and make her stand there as I replayed it. "You're obsessed with it, Dale."

It's like "28 Days Later" now. They're coming at Trump like a horde of zombies, the fast ones.

But, for 60+ days I was in sheer heaven.

They lost 6 to the reigning champions not the Knicks. I voted for the guy but let's face it he's a baffoon and the Dems lost to him.

Meh the media was stupid saying it was some completely unforseen upset no one could have called. I was surprised at the Trump win but Nate Silver kept explaining why the Clinton firewall was so fragile so I wasn't shocked to see the result we did. He gave Trump a 1 in 3 chance of winning and had a 10% chance of the electoral vote going to Trump while the popular vote went to Clinton. He even had an article saying a 1.5 point skew in the polls in Trump's favor would win him the election, which is pretty close to what happened. All these pundits in the media don't understand probability and were acting like Trump had to win a bunch of coin flips while Silver kept arguing those states he had to win had very correlated votes and thus the media was really overstating the improbability of him winning all the states he did in the Clinton firewall.

Scoreboard, hole. If you had it you'd be high on the hog.
We have elections every few years. The scoreboard isn't static, unless future elections are precluded.

Do you think elections are over, Thread?
