its not exactly quiet
Jokic is underrated this year. He's quietly become a very good/great big.
its not exactly quiet
And that's where we can beat them. Every team in the league has fatal flaws matchups mean everything this season.
They need to look at the watered down league TBH, like the smart Spurfan does.
We ain't buying any of our good defense either. Only the elites matter and Spur ran over them in the season opener. They need to be jumping off cliffs I say.

51% on jump shots and only 67% on layups?![]()
Thunder got blown out also
That's ing hilarious how long he held that pose.![]()
Warriors can't play Yesterday's Nba on nightly basis. Whipped Grizzlies and Thunder, Bully ball and ISO ball back to back nights.Yesterday they ran into superior Today's Nba.
Have you guys read this story about Jokic. SAGirl orginally posted the link http://www.si.com/nba/2017/02/08/nik...-darko-milicic
I'm amazed that he's been able to turn it all around after reading that article. Being out of shape may have turned his whole career around as he was supposed to sign with FC Barcelona, but they changed their minds after watching him in a game (the deal was supposedly agreed upon, but he was so poor in a game they came to watch, and so out of shape, they changed their minds). He might of still been in Europe and possibly never even come to the NBA if he stayed there.
Here's a quote from his agent in that article “In the end, Arturas is the guy who convinced us to change our strategy,” Raznatovic remembers. “Arturas said, ‘His skills are not in doubt. It’s his body. Where will he have a better chance to improve his body, in the NBA or in the Euroleague?’”
If he had of stayed in Europe, he may never have improved his body enough to come to the NBA IMO. He may not have changed his diet or habits enough. So being out of shape, may have actually helped him get to the NBA and get to this point.
I've been watching him play lately, and on offense, he's a pretty amazing passer/player. I can see why most/all of his Nuggets teammates want their court time with him on the floor. If you're open, he'll get you the ball.
Why would getting to the fattest country in the World help him get thinner, tbh?![]()
It's still amazing how good Sabonis was when he "washed up" on the Trail Blazers.
I'm pretty sure the NBA has decent trainers. Staying around and home isn't likely to break bad habits. What ever happened to guys like that Greek Shaq? He seemed to have eaten himself out of a promising NBA career.
Yeah, I really do wonder how good he would have been in the NBA if he was able to play there during his prime.
So does Europe. I don't see how getting to the country with the worst eating habits in the World would help someone lose weight. What helps a person lose weight is self-control and determination. Maybe getting to the NBA was what Jokic needed to get serious about basketball, tbh.
He appeared by his own admission to not be that motivated or focused. It's possible with some maturity anywhere he would have whipped himself into shape anyways, that's speculation. But the way things snook out, he really didn't try until he had to in order to improve his chances in the NBA...
You're more comfortable at home. Going to a different country may have made the difference in breaking his bad habits.
Also, going by that quote from his agent, it seems like they consider the NBA trainers to be better.
maybe top5 C ATG
Heard Pop was livid that they didnt draft Jokic (nd Isaiah Thomas)
