Today he got the same kind of looks he has been getting since he's here. He just made them tonight.
Pop should run a lot of pick and pop for LMA because that's where he is comfortable and that's his game..

He's too inconsistent. He's no Ibaka from mid-range tbh
He always kill the Spurs with that midrange when he was in Portland..except the 2014 series..
LMA said he's never had a slump 'quite like this' and was very "accountable" about it. I think it's been an anaomoly and we should expect to see his % improve quite a bit post AS break.
WTF? Is this another sarcasm thread? I can't tell them apart anymore.
This season he's shooting .383 from 3-10 feet, and .379 from 10-16 feet. But for his entire CAREER, LMA has shot .437 and .409 respectively, from those ranges. Mid-range is his game?
By all means... more ing mid-range from LMA, please. Maybe we can still get that lottery pick for next season.
BTW - from close range, he's shot an amazing .700 for his entire career. That is outstanding, even among good big men. But hey... it's always so exciting when those long ones go in.
This.
To hang our playoff hats on LMA midrange is foolish.
Last years OKC
18-23 coma
15-21 coma
8-21
8-18
6-21 Crucial Game 5 tied 2-2
9-18 in garbage time as OKC blew our nutts off 30-12 in the 2nd qtr.
Amazing how he plays against the worst teams in the league.
If only he could play consistently against good ones.
He plays well against the only team the Spurs need to worry about.
Eh only half the time. The other half he s the bed per usual

Clinging to hope from the first game of the season is wishful thinking.
His performance against GSW in the opening game was similar to the one he put on last season in that home game vs the Warriors (granted with Barnes in place of Durant)
His length, size, and offensive skill should work fine against Draymond. I wouldn't post him up 8 times a game against him but he can certainly hurt the Warriors.
LMA's been hitting the offensive boards a lot during his slump. That'd be what really hurts the Warriors. It's much easier to try to get a team in foul trouble when they have to flip from boxing out to defending. The only thing that's better than forcing the Warriors to stay big is to force them to stay big and have Draymond in foul trouble.
Being able to draw fouls is one of the most important skills a player can have in the playoffs. And probably the most under-rated and least talked about. And it goes hand in hand with being able to force the other team's lineup.
The Spurs' Offensive Efficiency, TS%, EFF FG%, etc. are all lower than GSW's. But the Spurs' Defensive Efficiency, and REB Rate, both defensive and offensive, are better. Controlling the glass will be key in a series with the Warriors. Limiting them to one shot, and getting some easy put-backs that fatten the Spurs offensive stats, drawing some whistles in the process. Aldridge shooting 40% midrange shots doesn't do any of that.
What him not showing up for the other games?
Did you click the link?
He plays like a scrub as much as a star against them.
Which Aldridge will we get?
