A truly embarrassing display. I guess guys not named Westbrook are too concerned with not getting hurt. Hard to blame them with all the money that's available these days, but damn who has killer instinct in this league? What an awfullly boring game that was.

He got hurt last year and didn't go to the locker room. While it wasn't serious he did miss the first three games after the break.
Pop and Kerr probably planned it so Pop had an excuse to sit Leonard against the Clips.
An injury that causes you to miss 3 games is not serious but more so Pop being over cautious.

The discussion wasn't about whether it was serious or not, just that he was injured. Obviously if it were serious he wouldn't be on the bench, but any injury that forces Kawhi to miss games is a huge concern since the team seemingly can't function without him these days.
You know this game was lame when the focus on this board is about Kawhi being injured or not
Kawhi not playing for a game or two does not worry me. Spurs are not catching the warriors in the standings. They are pretty much locked into second place. In the worst case scenario where Pop screws around with resting players I can see them falling to third place.
Spurs need as much time as they can fully healthy to find whatever chemistry they can with each other. Anyone missing games, especially Kawhi, hurts that.
