    I mean, it's a no-brainer tbh. The Clippers were a basement dweller for decades. The Elton Brand era showed promise but it was short lived. CP3 never elevated the franchise to a top tier contender but he somehow made the team relevant by leading us to consecutive playoff appearances. We became so legitimate, some Laker fans rooted for us lol.


    So, that's a lot of paper, sure, but to put it in perspective the Clippers are only paying him 45% more than a C tier athlete like Demar Derozan, a player who i not only one dimensional but also doesnt have star appeal.
