Yeah but the system. The system is so complicated and so detailed. You don't know how hard the system is to learn.

It's wouldn't be fair to bring anyone in and play them over others who have been learning the system for two years already. .

Danny Green and his 7ppg with less than 2 threes a game are irreplaceable

funny with all the players moved Lou was the only one of them that I wanted. I starter is too big a piece to integrate this late into the season but just a scorer for the bench is easy enough. To 'get buckets' when no one can. It is a special skill. I think we could have integrated Lou seamlessly.

You obviously don't know the intricacies of my system. Nobody, and I mean nobody, gets real playing time as a walk on late in the season.

According to Chinook that couldn't be more true. Danny Green is a god to the Spurs.

Not irreplaceable, but the Spurs could only replace Danny with a player of equal or greater "gravity." They already have enough non-shooters in Kyle and Juice.

By that definition DLeague Green is expendable. We got already the player with the League's greatest gravity.

You'd think my post was a set-up, but it really wasn't meant to be. I prolly shoulda expected somebody to play the fathead card... I wish he were the source of the kind of gravity I intended!

Speaking of butt hurry. How about the guy that puts others on ignore when they don't agree and bow to him.

odd move for the Pels. He seems like one of those nice and cheap glue pieces they could use in the future.

They are trying to make the playoffs and they need shooting now, so not surprising. Spurs have tried to get this guy in the past. Do they pick him up knowing he can't play for a month?

Yeah, but whose out there for NOLA? Also, was just reading elsewhere that they're capped out next year if the resign Holiday, so they just got rid of a decent peice that they could have resigned this summer with Bird Rights. Seems short sighted, but what do I know.

Hey look! still standing pat in the buy out market ...I am secretly rooting for Boston to flame out in playoffs and bust all their draft picks so I can revel in the ensuing ridicule of Ainge ..He's acting like they're surely going to draft a Tim Duncan/Lebron, therefore Celtics is no rush and could be sitting on a potential dynasty here. Judging by the trend of last few years, the Top 3 prospects in lottery have been egregiously overhyped relative to their on court performance as it turned out..none of them has proven to be a transcendent talent, even guys likes KAT and AD haven't had that instant franchise-transforming impact..Draft night is Ainge's last stand..

Yea...he's making a mockery of himself, two seasons in a row already. Draftees that are not transcendent talent as you mention take time for them to even know what they have there and sometimes all you have are nice players but not stars. They also can't develop all of them properly bc they don't have enough roster spots.

Their window with the group they have is right now. I respect Ainge not wanting to throw away his picks initially and waiting for the right time... but by now it seems like there has been no star, no right time, etc. not even a right trade out there to improve their roster. He says he likes their team as they are... perhaps too attached to his roster right now.
