I remember a time when Presidents behaving Presidentially wasn't newsworthy, and the content of their speeches were what we read and wrote about.
Kind of a shame because the speech was mostly good and I'd like to see more attention paid to holding the administration accountable for following through. Particularly in the areas of not picking petty fights or being burdened by fear.

I didn't watch the speech. I read it, as I have with the last dozen or so SOTUs. But I haven't seen anyone suggest it was "entertaining." Did he have a live band or something?
I wasn't talking about this actual speech. But basically every speech he does is great. The entertainment is always there. Otherwise, I wouldn't watch. This speech was more about unity. Whatever he focuses on, he wins at.
