Cool image. Nice shot of Patty before the jihadist beard.

There was no argument to lose. I said my piece earlier and you went all "stop lecturing me".
You got super sensitive lately because I try to let you know that the expectations you have for the team re: the young guys aren't reasonable. But think what you want, and continue to complain when the same stuff happens with Pop and co.
THE PLAY: Last of regulation, spurs ball, tied game
THE SHOT: Kawhi Leonard, step back mid range
THE RESULT: Miss, shot clock violation
How is this guy MVP if he can't even get a shot off in a game winning scenario . Yeah, we won in OT, but we should have on in regulation if not for KL. Was this Pop's fault for not designing any sort of play other than,"kawhi, iso, heave" or KL's for going full kobe in the execution?

Prime TD got damn close in 2003 with Pop as I recall. (Too lazy to look up the stats).

Trolling aside, Kawhi started his move about two or three seconds too late. I was sitting in the nosebleeds at the game last night. My friend doesn't really know basketball, so I was telling him what was going to happen. But I said Kawhi would start his drive with about five or six seconds left. He started with about four seconds, which gave him no time to do anything after Wiggins offered up some resistance.
He ed up. He wanted to take the three expecting wiggins to back down. It makes sense because they only needed a two so naturally a gppd defender would back down and prevent the drive or midrange.
Surprisingly, wiggins lack pf defensive fundamentals helped him not make that decision...When ot was time to pull up, wiggins was all on hos grill.
Would have loved to see him get the ball in the post, but i suppose they wanted the ultimate last shot.
Tbh...
lol no Enrique
Clinched!!!
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
TD pulled the same exact as Kawhi last night at the end of regulation in '03... re-watch Phoenix 1st round game 4. Except, we were down 2 instead of tied, which meant TD's shenanigans cost us the game and made that series 2-2.
That was just neophyte Pop, not Master Pop.
21 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists, 8 blocks in Game 6 of the 2003 Finals.
Is that right? I'll have to go back and watch it.
The point still stands, TD just had a better overall understanding of the game in 03 than Kawhi does now. That's not a knock on him, and as I said (IMO) the comparison is valid in some respects.
The scorekeeper also didn't credit TD with 2 blocks iirc
Cheers. Flat out amazing.
Dude disappears when the Spurs start winning though. What a got.![]()
That's 100% correct!!
So TD actually had the quadruple double? I thought he blocked at least 10 shots when watching it back in the day. He was blocking everything.
Yeah, I counted 10 blocks from him myself.
This was lowkey great win considering it was on B2B after an OT game and the Wolves have been playing great lately (best defense in the NBA since ASB)

Lavine and Winslow stock have fallen..Wouldn't be surprised if they get shopped in the summer..It doesn't reflect well on your value when your team goes from a Top 5 lottery pick to (potentially) making the playoffs after you go down with injury..
