We don't know the details, tbh, neither does that piece, but it stands to reason that's in the WH's best interests to make public any alleged intel on the issue.

I think the call for an investigation was the correct way to go about it. If there was foul play more people will get caught up in the investigation than if Trump just declassified the FISA warrant.

It is starting to sound like the FISA warrant could have been issued under fraudulent evidence and then went beyond the scope of the warrant as well.
