I may be alone on this, but I enjoyed this game more than the win over the Rockets.
I did too but mainly because there was no pressure. If the team lost we could just point to the top two guys being out. If they lost against HOU all the 'fool's gold team' thoughts wouldve started creeping in.

I dont think the concerns about Pop being not willing to go to the best player is a big deal anymore. TP been benched plenty of times in crunch time this year.

He does not get the wide open 3 like in 2014 you wad.
And Tony handling the ball so much, easily and fluidly, allowed Danny not to have to handle as much.
Tony penetrating Danny sat on the line. Get off the board.

    You are completely Daft.
Dude has been getting open looks. Try not to ignore frays, because you want to get into a childish name calling debate.

No doubt those Warriors fans who were celebrating in the first half of this game are pretty deflated now.

Spurs come back from 28 down to win, their largest comeback under Gregg Popovich
    8:53 PM · Mar 8, 2017
Wow... Not just the largest comeback in the entire NBA this season but of the entire Pop era... I am going to take it easy on the cliff jumpers honestly...

Give the ball to MVParker and gtfo the way
did you mean put him on the bench midway into the 3rd quarter and leave him there?

    Yep!

You called the comeback, and I was around to see it. I sure hope this gets Danny going.

These kind of wins are going to help this team heading into the postseason

I know he won't. I just want his minutes HEAVILY managed.
Question: if you are Pop and don't want a player on the floor at crunch time, why do you want him starting games?

You almost gotta feel bad for the Kings. Ouch.

I should stop doubting this team this season. They keep finding ways to come back and win.

Absolutely! Too many of our guys were just coasting along, relying on Kawhi (and LMA to a lesser extent).

I actually had the same thought about the Kings. I haven't seen them since the Cousins trade, but they played good team basketball for the most part.

Dedmon got benched, never to be seen again. He's had a couple really poor games in a row now.

To hide him... thus the slow starts and the comebacks.... bc he has to play said guy at some poin right?

He won't retire and leave $14MM on the table. PATFO will have to package him with a pick and trade him a la Diaw. With Pop's consistently benching him in crunch time, that seems more conceivable than it once did.

$14M will pay like 10 years worth of Asvel salaries. He owes it to his team to stay.

I think Spurs have needed offense lately and he's limited to lobs etc... Specially in a game like this. I hope the dude recaptures his groove back but I liked what I saw from Bertans and Kyle both frankly
(and Lee ... but Lee is assured to play anyways and not get the Dedmon minutes)

    Sorry about the name calling.

But no way he is getting the time he did in 2014.
    No way.

The league knows him. He can hit the 3. He can play D. But when we don't move the ball like 2014 it hurts him a great deal on offense. That's my opinion. It hurts his 3 and the more ISO type ball with less movement forces him into more uncomfortable dribbling which he has never mastered.

That may be the answer, but it is a very poor reason.
