We'd win pretty handily imo. We matchup much better with them
Not that it matters in the playoffs as much, but GS's depth is being tested.

Hopefully this is the Curry we'll see for the rest of the season..it's the only way the Spurs would actually have a realistic shot at winning the le, tbh..
He's still a star player, but going from arguably the best 2-year peak for a PG in NBA history to just a star player is a substantial drop-off that alters the landscape of the league..
I'm really missing DWest right about now. And to think that the Warriors got him AND Matt Barnes. Just not fair.![]()
Makes the improbable comeback win more important.
Anyone else just come, tbh?
Celtics Defense was outstanding tonight. That's really what won them the game.
Wolves have played no better this season. I turned down free tickets to the Wolves Clippers game tonight.
Team Wolves has played out of their minds lately for a bad team. They absolutely annihilated Utah in Utah, almost beat us in SA (took us to OT) and just beat the Clippers. Definitely an up and coming team, will likely be somewhere in the playoff wheelhouse next year.
I'm picking up some subtle sarcasm.
Man Celtics have some pretty elite defenders tbh
Not entirely inconceivable.
Celtics aren't making the Finals with a 5'9" player leading them, Al Horford as their 2nd best player and a below average defense, tbh..they match up really well vs. the Warriors, though, maybe their worst matchup in the league..
I've always been a big fan of his, but Avery Bradley's defense is incredible. Best defensive PG in the league, hands down. He dominated both Klay and Steph defensively down the stretch of that game. Sadly we'll have Tony and Patty guarding them...
I think we beat them if we have HCA over them.
FINAL SCORE BY QTR

Not a PG, but whatever... (IT is the PG)
While a full strength Warriors team should be favored over us, it wouldn't be if Curry regained his MVP form as MVP caliber Curry struggled vs. Green/Kawhi.
There was a play where DWest got the ball late in the clock and sort of blundered around until the siren sounded. It was an ending-of-career kind of play if I've ever seen one.
Curry's style has never gotten him to the FT line a lot, for a superstar-caliber player. He has to shoot lights out, or he's not going to carry a team like some other guys. When he's hitting from outside, he's scary. When he isn't, they have to have Durant on the floor, or they're in trouble.
He probably means defending PGs, since that's Avery Bradley's specialty..he isn't great at defending wings(he's too small), but he's probably the best PG defender in the NBA..
Curry's falloff? He's not playing like a historically great pg unlike the last two seasons, but he's still the best pg in the NBA.
Curry's last two years were an anomaly. Never believed it would last. All those long bombs were always dumb shots even if they went in. Sure he can go off here or there still, but video game mode is over.
That only works when you can "hide" IT on somebody else, like a smaller spot up shooter who can't really create their own shot. Otherwise, you're giving up a mismatch somewhere else.
We all knew he was done when he went 0/12 from 40 feet, wide open, for a charity memento in front of a national ASW audience.
