STOP resting players! It breaks up the chemistry... You are no longer riding the big 3 that played with each other for ten plus years...these guys NEED the reps together...or we will have NO chemistry in the playoffs

Considering they made 2 finals trips just a few years ago, it's hard to argue that.

That isn't why they lost tonight

Couldn't buy a bucket. They had some decent looks. Didn't look like anyone knew what to do with the ball on offense. Joel Anthony was the best defensive player on the floor. The Thunder hit some lucky threes. Defense was overall terrible.

Pop doesn't care about losing meaningless games, nor should he, tbh..the players probably don't care, either..it's an 82 game season..

It's only the fans who overreact to everything and judge all players on a game-by-game basis

It's not the loss, it's the "Throw it to LMA and the rest stand around" offense.
Just killed momentum after we had a couple games with good stretches of The Beautiful Game with everyone involved.
Murrays rhythm and instincts completely thrown off. You can tell his wings have been clipped and he's been ordered to overthink.

I def saved money pregame when I considered it was Pop vs Billy Donovan.

I actually prefer Spurs going to GS w a loss. Hopefully angry. I'd trade a Thunder loss for a GS win.

Well, that's how Spurs lost against them in last playoffs, they got plenty of good looks in the series but couldn't hit an ocean.

And we will face them, again. In first round.

OKC will start to double Kawhi in every play and no one of the rest of guys will make them pay hittin open shots

Pop is only concerned with his shtick and only an idiot would think these games are meaningless. The 1 seed is clearly vital this season since it would incrementally increase their odds of beating the Warriors, if/when. They're not beating them either way, but as the 2nd best team, obviously that's the goal and the odds are always slightly better of winning any series with home court.

There will be plenty of losses in these remaining 18 games.

Just sit back and take it in. Will make the wins feel better.

Well, thanks to the pressure super teams put on the Spurs to win every game, this game was important.
It was also very winnable, but apparently OKC can beat the Spurs without KD and with Westbrick going 33 and 17% shooting.

It was also a nice game to help Kawhi's MVP hopes. Nobody cares if WB is not efficient

Did u read what I said...we are no longer relying on the big 3 that played for over a decade...them resting won't affect chemistry when they get back on the floor together...however THIS team desperately NEEDS to build chemistry...

Don't remind me. I'm one of maybe 5 posters on here with a healthy respect for OKC. I'd rather see any of the other fringle playoff teams before them. Last night was a little fluky and a little lack of interest or fatigue on the Spurs end, but they will if nothing else, wear these guys down as a first round matchup
