That's ONLY if Thompson and Curry carry their slump into the playoffs.
The Warriors without Durant aren't the same as the last couple years' Warriors without Durant. Not having any solid bigs and Harrison Barnes was a better defender and glue guy than people gave him credit for.

If the Warriors limp into the playoffs and square off against Clippers or Thunder, they could be in big trouble. Again, this is a big IF, and this is if Curry and Thompson continue their slumps into the playoffs with an unhealthy KD.

If this rest thing is true, we really need Manu to win the game.

So, can our starters minus Kawhi beat the Dubs' scrubs?
It's still gonna be Pop vs Kerr so don't put any money on it.

National late night radio roasting the Dubs calling them mentally fragile. Afraid of the team's mindset if they go for the #1 seed and don't get it. We didn't want that number one seed anyway let the Spurs have it. LMAO. Epitome of a frontrunner., arrogant as F when everything going their way but the wheels come off when they face adversity.

Don't get me wrong, I agree they've regressed from last year. But with Curry and Thompson on your team, their shooting could get you far if they find their rhythm.

I don't think Pop cares about the #1 seed as much as we do, either..at least it doesn't appear that he does, based on his rotations..
We've been thru this before, as recently as 2015 when #2 seed was up for grabs and Cutesy Pop Lineups dropped us to 6th.

He could get away with his chit when he had Prime Duncan GNob Bowen Horry and serviceable Parker. It's beyond old now.

Holy Batman! Looking at box score and Wiggins was awarded two FTs by a foul on Zaza with 12 seconds left.

WarriorRef has abandoned the Wubbies too?!

I disagree..they're clearly gassed, they aren't going to be winning anything if their top guys keep playing like this, anyways..

Health and form is more important than seeding..also, why should the Warriors be scared of the Spurs having HCA, anyways? Spurs had HCA in the 2nd round and blew it, just last season

    ..
I was thinking that last night watching the game. It seems he was more interested in testing lineups against the thunder. Almost like he knows he's not getting the one seed and he wanted to see what would work against them.

uh we have the 2 seed locked up, this is nothing like 2015, where we fell 4 spots based on one game.

Wiggins had missed two free throws before so I think it was Hacka-Wiggins.

both fouls were at the basket, refs rewarding the more agressive team.

NBA knows Westbrook vs Durant in playoffs will save their horrible ratings. Spurs will get 1 seed no matter how hard pop trys to avoid it.

Not saying that they are an easy out, by any means. The potential of Steph, Klay, and Donkeyface are enough to keep them as favorites, even if they are slumping right now.

But they are vulnerable, and not as unbeatable as many seem to have assumed...even with KD.

So tomorrow night will be the Santa Cruz warriors vs. the Austin Spurs.
In the 2014-15 season that would have been an interesting game both teams had some NBA taleng back then... right now I don't know... when Bryn is one of their best players... one wonders.

I know that wasn't the joke ... but Austin had a good team that season and Santa Cruz ended as the dleague champion...
I think both teams are mediocre this season... to bad.

If they wanted the Thunder Vs Warriors, why didn't they favor the Spurs more in yesterday's game? I don't think they give a about the Spurs getting the number 1 seed. If they did, calling the fouls and game better yesterday would have helped that a lot.

I can't believe Kawhi is out for tonight's game. How long is he likely to miss?

If the Warriors really are resting all those players, then the Spurs better win the game. Pop better not be a pussy and try and tank that number 1 seed. Get mentally focused and stay locked playing for the Championship.

Oh, and that rest from Pop is bull . Nothing good EVER comes from it. ing Kawhi gets hurt the next game anyway, and his insane rhythm that he develops is always broken. I only ever agreed with resting Tim and Manu. No-one else ever should have rested the past 6 years or so if they weren't injured.

Warriors are dumb to tank this game, tbh..With Durant return iffy, they could really be in trouble Memphis or OKC if keep playing like this..
They are gassed and not playing well. Even without Kawhi Spurs were going to be tough team to beat on the road. If they are missing shots bc they are gassed then have to get into a grind game against the Spurs which is a losing proposition bc that's the Spurs game. Spurs OTOH still have all their bigs, they would have Manu back, and role players play better at home plus they are coming off a loss. I would think Pop doesn't play Bryn or Anthony with all his bigs healthy, Manu back and hopefully Kyle too.

Good choice by Kerr. I really don't think he would have done it if he really didn't have guys on fumes.
