Damn, that's too bad. Hope everything's ok but he's likely done with bball.

The Spurs got the last of him.

This isnt some Chris Bosh .'

He had this happen twice in Portland and missed 2-3 weeks each time

Yeah when he was 5+ years younger. You cant expect older bodies to get back to top peak conditions in mere days or months.

I just want to hear more. 1. Is he gonna be ok health wise? 2. Is he gonna be able to play again? And if so, when

Damn, what a blow..quite the 180 from last year, tbh, when 90% of the forum was willing to eat his ass and ridiculing me for my Aldridge thread

Still, though, Spurs won't be anywhere near contending if he's out..he's been an All-NBA caliber defender, this year, and he's the only guy outside of Kawhi that could consistently cause mismatches when he was engaged..

Pau can negate some of his offense, but the 2-way dropoff will be substantial..combining Pau and Dedmon essentially gives you Aldridge..

Spurs can still get the #1 seed without him, and they could beat Denver or Memphis in a 1st round matchup without him, as well..any other matchup will be a loss, though, and forget about contending, of course..

you took like four 180's on your stance on aldridge last season and had to go back and delete old posts to hide it

No, I didn't I deleted 2 posts about a single game that was going to be misconstrued as admitting defeat for the entire thread(which would be pretty dumb to believe, that I would spent 60 pages defending something and then change my mind ), and I was correct, it was misconstrued, even after deleting it..take the L and go home with the rest of them..

Bloody ! Get well soon. I hope it's only a short term precaution.

The list of available FA's is awful (Scola, Blair, Novak.......)

Guys, I've had this condition so I have a little perspective. I'm also an avid long-distance runner who's run 4 marathons. The last time I was sidelined due to this condition, I took a month off...2 years ago and I've been on my same running routine ever since. Hope it's the same for LMA or even better.

Pretty sure that a dead guy would be granted the injury exclusion
Some would say that Parker has been a corpse for the past few years but we're still paying him

He'd still get paid but yes wouldn't count against cap.

I'm also a little older than LMA and of course, nowhere near the athlete he is so if he's out longer, it would be because LMA and staff were very negligent in monitoring the situation to the point that it worsened...which I doubt. Or they're willfully going to be extremely cautious in bringing him back, longer than necessary because the organization is just that classy. Whatever it is, there's still a good chance he comes back soon.

Signing LMA was an admirable and worthwhile risk to make the team better, but I don't think he's performed up to expectations. Perhaps due to lingering health issues, who knows?
I wish him well, but as a fan I feel like the Spurs ran into some bad luck with him.

I think if the Spurs don't pick anyone up, they've told the Spurs he won't be out too long.

Is Blair done? I read an interview from a couple weeks ago, said he needed to get quicker but sounded mature. Scola is what he is at this point, but he's still been competing at the NBA level this year and has more experience than anyone available. Sullinger has to be an option too. And of course the elephant in the room...21 Savage

More Ded-Lee and relying on MVPau tbh.

Bertans and Anderson can fill in as the backup 4 for 20 mpg.

Not sure why there is a need for another PF, granted there really isn't a need for Anthony at the moment.

Bertans should be able to step up and play 20mpg, Anderson is better suited as a 4 anyway. Lee will probably have to play 26-28 mpg for at least the next couple of weeks (about 7 games, most of them are pretty winnable assuming Leonard doesn't miss any more games past the Atl game)

The organization is gonna keep us in the dark, so whether he's out a week or year we won't get any word from them.
