Ooh, now the main event: Lakers v. Nuggets!
Haters ready to jump on that quick.![]()
Ooh, now the main event: Lakers v. Nuggets!
Kawhi brought it up the entire time outside of 30 seconds at the end not pressured. Mills gets pressured, not in just this game, but pretty much all games. He was also pressured immediately when he had it the entire time the first chance he brought it up with more time on the clock.
I don't know how people are arguing with me on this.
Going in circles. You changed your argument to how he handled it vs WHY Kawhi was bringing it up the entire game with no pressure (to which I explained why).
You got butthurt because you didn't like the reason although it's 100% true and not just in this game.
Two games vs Atlanta this year that Bud refuses to go midcourt to embrace Pop at the end while the latter was kinda waiting for it ..![]()
LOL... man, somebody's got a bad case of the red-ass.
It was a 2 possession game with plenty of time left on the clock. And you're calling "stat-padding" because Kawhi gets fouled and shoots FT's? Dayum.
Wrong person brah.![]()
Kawhi is the spurs main playmaker. It makes sense for him to bring up the ball. It has nothing to do with Patty's ability to handle pressure (which is fine, btw)![]()
LOL. How in the did that happen? I'm having a Patty Mills night. Can't handle the pressure.![]()
Danny picked a good game to go off. His efficiency in this game was necessary... Hopefully he's got it going rest of the way...

How long has it been since the Spurs had the best record in the league at this point in the season? They're always near the top, but it's been a while since they were in this position.
I didn't change . I'm telling you the Hawks didn't pressure Patty all game long, except for that last play in which anybody else would have been pressured too, proven by the fact that Kawhi got pressured the immediate next possession.
No - it's not. It's been exposed numerous times. He played a great game (outside of his shooting for most of the game) tonight but that does not change everything we have seen before this regarding his ability to bring the ball up and initiate offense and teams pressuring him at an abnormal rate when he does.
2011-12 season![]()
Again yes you did. You said you didn't like Kawhi bringing the ball up. I explained to you WHY it was happening. It's not because of what ATL does to Mills this game, but what happens when Mills brings the ball up in most EVERY game. You didn't like the explanation, but then Mills got pressured when he brought the ball up and the play (not entirely his fault) ended up in a TO. That was with much more time on the clock than when Kawhi got pressured (although it was still somewhat an end of game situation).
When that happened, you then shifted the argument away from the WHY to the RESULT of Mills handling the pressure fine. The reason I gave was not about Mills handling the pressure, but they WHY to having Kawhi bring the ball up with no TP there.
This isn't about this game. It's about Mills as a player and what we have seen forever with him when he does have to bring the ball up against starting level players.
abnormal rate = pressured once tonight

Holy sh*t you are truly dumb![]()
Your capitulation is duly noted
Anything else to add to your anti-Mills agenda tonight?
I didn't change son. Let me explain it to you:
I said I didn't like Kawhi bringing the ball up every other possession. Then you said that happens becuase Mills would be getting pressured by Atlanta. I then told you Atlanta wasn't pressuring , not Kawhi, not Mills, not Manu, not anybody. Then you saw the opportunity to pull a dishonest "I told you so" because of that one play where Patty had already handled the pressure and the refs decided to make it more interesting, despite nothing of what you said happened for the entirety of the rest of the game.
Thanks for that. I knew it had been quite a while. I hope they keep this going and get home court through the playoffs. But it feels good now, no matter what.
