No way would the ball have been on Greens hands trying to go one on one. Mills and Ginobili were just disasters from the 5 minute mark. They had one cute three pointer,

But HOTS would have had a much calmer appraoch. Way too erratic from Mills-Ginobilli-Green.

HOTS was huge against Houston too when facing adversity tbh..

He can't do what he used to do anymore, but he can still torch Lillard Harlem can confirm

    I miss him.
I miss Dijon too in his stead if he's injured.
Tony when healthy was playing well. It's quite a bit alarming he's been injured so long.
I don't trust him to stay healthy if the Spurs make a deep playoff run. He's just been very brittle unfortunately.

Ginobili and Mills tried to be too cute.

I still cant figure out what the playcall was in the 2 minute mark. Ginobili just passed the ball to Green...looks like the ball was supposed to go to Leonard but he refused to pass.

Fine, if he feels like its too risky.

But its not fine if you're going to replace Leonard with Green. Ginobili should have demanded the ball and Green should have never placed the ball on the floor. Embarrrasing.

HOTS usually is better at managing slower situations. Part of the reason why he still gets minutes.

HOTS would of played well against them. Has always torched Lillard, Blazers have no rim protection etc

Yep. Patty is a gear changer, which is why I find it nonsensical when people think he's a starter. His game is tailor-made for the bench. When Patty starts, we lose that ability to shift, something the Helmet crew (now reduced to Dabom and Gambit) doesn't understand.

    Still on this.

I'm okay with Murray starting (in theory, but something Pop would never do) and House coming off the bench. Again, my ultimate point is House is better off the bench.

    Not sure what you mean.

    Last 5 minutes.

    Aldridge was 3 of 4
Leonard was 1 of 4 with one TO
Mills was 1/1 from 3 with 1 assist
Manu didn't shoot, had 2 AST (entered with 2.42 remaining)
Green was 0 for 1 with 1 TO

say what you will about Porker, but it's obvious the spurs run more smoothly with him running the point, even if he is trash.

Parker doesn't have the juice to get 20 points whenever he wants like he used to, but he also doesn't turn the ball over and plays within himself (at least he does now). He's an adequate starting point guard if he has a good team defense behind him. Spurs will close out if he gets back in time. Playoffs may be another story, but we have a great regular season team.
