There was always the chance Allen would go, doubt it has anything to do with Smart imo. He's not ready, and isn't hiring an agent quite yet. He could use more of an outside shot and at least 20 more pounds of muscle.

In fact imo he is so not ready that I can't even believe he would choose it. If he did get drafted I guess he would toil in the D league getting beat up by older men vs. having to go to class.
