The guy/team outplayed LeBron/Cavs for the season![]()
I am personally not worried by his three point shooting percentage at this point. He seems at times to rise without his legs underneath an his range of motion with his release isn't fluid either with majority of this misses even then they are bouncing in an out or lined up center mass just hitting short.
With the rest of his game working for him the way it is teams will have to give him spacing on D and challenge him to make those 3s an Kawhi shooting those shots with room to shoot more I feel confident he'll drop them in the bucket.
You should look in the mirror tbh.
Porker ruined his shot tbh. Too many hot dogs.
They still can. If Kawhi shots .80% on 2P shots like tonight. Or he runs more P&Rs...Or he gets the ball in the post more instead of clanking 3PA after 3PA...
Kawhi shouldn't take 7 3's a game, that's a stupid team-strategy for a scorer who leads the league in PPP as ball-handler, and is .93 percentile in post-up situations.
Plus, to win something, the starting backcourt need to make some shots to make rivals pay when the double Kawhi...Tonight Parker and Danny couldn't hit an ocean 2-10 combined.
At least, we had Dikembe Green there but he needs to hit his 3's against elite teams.
Good one
He took a lot of bad shots from 3 and missed them but it's partially heat check for him and partially by design as he needs defenders to worry about him pulling up for a 3 off the dribble. He can't be a 3 point threat only on set up catch and shoot situations. Every team's primary offensive option needs to be aggressive even if they have to take a bad shot here and there.
The Golden State Warriors' superstars looked pretty tired blowing a 3-1 in the finals last year after trying so hard to chase that record for wins last season...
Tired legs and quite a few bail out 3s
And by "quite a few" I mean too many
They are fake superstars.

Kawhi is 88th percentile in postups, 1.06 PPP. That's fantastic, but still only equivalent to shooting 35.3% from three. He's most dangerous when he's unpredictable.
I agree that he shouldn't take 7 threes per game on average, but he has to have the green light to shoot 7 threes if that's what the defense gives him.
Agree.
But 4 of his 7 last night were forced Kobme attempts.
Needs to knock that chit off.
The Spurs as a whole were absolute from downtown last night. If Gasol is going to be our best 3 point shooter we are screwed from outside.
If the Warriors shoot at least 35% from downtown the Spurs could be in trouble because of the lack of firepower.
Still, a great win the other night nonetheless![]()
pretty bad assessment considering hes been money from three this year tbh
Gasol is shooting 53.5% from 3 this season![]()
Kawhi has totally destroyed his percentages lately
He only takes 2-3 three pointers a game. I'd rather out best 3 point shooter take more. Gasol has been great from downtown, but I don't know that I want our best 3 point shooter being a center playing so far away from the basket.
That's dumb.
But with Pau shooting it so well, there's plenty of room to have a high volume three-point shooter hit a good percentage and not lead the team in that category. Unless that's not what you meant.
So are you.
I would actually argue that Pau being out best 3pt shooter is a very good thing for our offense. Kawhi has a very complete offensive game and can get his points anywhere. Our center being able to step out to the line and bit it at a ridiculous percentage opens up the offense for everyone especially considering he's a great passer. Tbh
