Weren't you and others talking about how this was the perfect national TV game for the Cavs to break out of their slump? How they would hit everything against the fool's gold Spurs?
I've underestimated how godawful the Cavs have been lately..they've been getting drilled by everyone: WORST defense in the league since the ASB.

You've also underestimated how good Kawhichael and my Spurs are.

    2-0 vs GS
    2-0 vs CLE
    3-1 vs HOU
    2-0 vs BOS

The Cavs went down easy last night. We actually knocked them out of first place in the East.

The Dubs will likely be a much different story. We'll see on Wednesday night.

He IS the MVP. Spurs need that 1st seed to win it imo. Otherwise my money is on Harden.

No doubt. But, it's important to point out, at least for the cliff divers who think we can't beat anyone. Maybe it will help them sleep at night

    That one was TD 21:
Yeah, unfortunately this one is inevitably going to be the "enough is enough" game from the Cavaliers, who'd have had a "we owe them one" mentality anyway and given the cir stances, will play with max desperation/urgency for a regular season game. It's also on TNT, which means even were it the best of cir stances, the Spurs would labor to score and more than likely lose.

The Warriors, though they're back on track, figure to be nearly as desperate, just to ensure that the Spurs don't start believing that they can beat them in a series.

The Spurs will likely have the same at ude against the Thunder and if they lose back to back, would be highly likely to win no matter who it's against.

    I'm going L-L-W-W-W.

I love how the people always pointing out incorrect predictions are the ones who lacked the balls to make one themselves. I guarantee you if I were right, you're not quoting me and giving me credit.

I also love the hypocrisy. Anytime I comment after a loss, I'm reading too much into it, "cliff jumping" and "spoiled", but when they beat an elite team, suddenly there's some big picture takeaway that proves what I've said wrong.

Cleveland is playing mediocre at best and warriors will be on a b2b.

We got a good shot at winning both.
    and we have a winner

It's a different game in the playoffs. Played a different way, with totally different whistles. But that's still damned impressive.

Yea, especially considering the officiating has sucked for us so often. Tho we already know some officiating in the playoffs reach's peak ty levels at times.

The Spurs have one of the best foul differentials in the league (as usual) - maybe the best, I haven't checked in a bit. Something always happens in the playoffs, and they just forget how to play D without fouling a lot.

Harden and Westbrook are going to live at the FT line in the playoffs. The Dubs haven't drawn a lot of whistles, considering, but if Durant is healthy, he'll be a whistle magnet. We may need David Lee to put the ninja Death Touch on a couple of those guys in the postseason.
