Bobcats Diaw 2.0, tbh
Bobcats Diaw 2.0, tbh
Diaw needs to be on a good team to be effective, not det core. I've always thought he'd be good on the Clippers' bench, tbh.
Lee and Dedmon cant play any better, theyve been excellent so far after 4 games
Triple single![]()
Damn Bobo, that's rough. Like I said I can't hate on him. We got a championship with him. Just glad he gave us his best years![]()
Yes he is, most of it offensively (with a slight positive overall at this moment), compared to all wheels fallen off, 40 yrs old Timmy.
Defensively Tim was better....until after the other knee went. still good at positioning and calling out.
Overall Pau is a bit of an upgrade. I'm a usually a bit sceptical of the intangibles discus sion with certain players, but with Tim, I think it was true. That said tonight was a god win. B2B on the road not playing well and 2 starters out.
Boris has more fouls/TOs this season than points/assists. Also, has recorded zero blocks/steals in 3 games.![]()
Well, if we go to intangibles area, all bets are off, TD is such a force there especially later in his career, mostly towards the rookies & newcomers as a sort of chaperone, and be the team pillar of mental strength.
Turd Towers Update:
* Tragic that this is contract year Bobo even with Favors out injured..

Meanwhile D-Worst has found his way to Kerr dog house before GSW hit 20 games mark, while Poop kept playing him over a retiring team legend and Top 5 alltime player..
I will never forget how Pop straight pulled Timmy to the bench in G5 after he blocked Adams or Westbrook and momentum was about to change in our favor in the 3rd quarter of the game..
The real difference between this year's team and last year's isn't the dropoff defensively from Duncan to Gasol (but slightly better offensively), but replacing those Diaw/West minutes with two productive 3rd and 4th bigs.
Imagine if GS had pulled off Dedmon instead of West...
D-Worst is going to payoff for the Spurs just like Jefferson did in '13.![]()
Last I looked most of Diaw's numbers looked worse than Fathead's. Diaw is getting a few more minutes, but on a Per-36 basis, he had a very slight edge in points and assists, but everything else Fathead was much better.
Fat Head can rebound/defend MUCH better than Diaw 0.1
Honestly I think Diaw is done with basketball..I don't think he is getting anything above Vet minimum next summer..
Diaw stopped giving a about baskeball after '14, tbh.
Robz4000 , u want this dude back?
One thing I still give credit to Pop for is that he knows exactly when to jettison a "role player"-- when that said player is done with the team and can't contribute anymore..Diaw is simply washed and has no hunger left in him when it comes winning...I'm not even sure i want him for the minimum next season..
He was having a better second half of the season than first from what I saw. He brings a bit to the table what the Spurs need (dribble penetration, driving and kicking, efficient/skilled post game); his main issue was that Pop continuously tried to play him alongside another undersized big in DWorst.
I suspect Lee's being re-signed is dependant on whether they can re-sign Dedmon. If they can and as expected, Bertans becomes a rotation player, because he's matchup dependant, they're still going to need a rotation caliber backup power forward, only they'll need one content to be the fifth big and make the minimum.
If they still think Splitter can defend power forwards in certain match-ups, then he'd make sense, since he could replace Lee's rim rolling and double as the third center.
If they can't re-sign Dedmon and Lee is re-signed, then Splitter would be a cleaner fit, since that would no longer be an issue.
So either way, I see him as the more likely returnee than Diaw.
I don't see Diaw returning regardless. I think it's more likely he retires.
For the sport's sake.
Yep. He got his ring and contract and was done. Not a surprise motivation has always been an issue with Boris.
That said, he was awesome in the playoffs in 14 and I'll always remember him well for that.
LMFAO people want ter and Diaw back? You can tell who does and doesn't watch basketball tbh
