I hope Spurs don't waste this game by Danny... 14 pts is unusual production from him. They should win this.
The bench was uncharacteristically off. I think they will be back better, but frankly the defense had a lot of breakdowns in the 2nd Q
I actually hope this is not a one-off game by Danny... not asking him to hit like this every night, but more consistently would be nice

The Warriors deserve to beat us if Iggy and Livingston are having good games. Pop will give them whatever they want outside of paint in a seven game series.

Allowing an almost 40 point quarter against a team who played last night
Spurs decided they had the game won.

Iggy has been a monster for them since the KD injury..Really thought he was washed early in the season..
This. Iggy rediscovering his game completely changes their bench with Barnes and Livingston.

I can promise you this. Come playoff time, you can't be surprised if the Spurs don't make it to the WCF. At the end of the day, their second best player is a ghost.
That's the easiest prediction in the world... every western team except maybe the Dubs pretty much fit in that category...

Do you guys actually think the spurs can beat the warriors in a 7 game series with Tony and patty being defensive liabilities

The problem is that the Warriors are having a field day in the paint as well now. And shooting 54% from downtown.

If the Spurs can just force them into tougher shots you'd have to like their chances. But right now the Warriors are getting any shot they want, and the Spurs look frazzled when they have the ball.

No one actually think the Spurs can win 4 times out of 7 against GS with Durant. I'll just be happy if they make it to the WCF.

The Dubs got back into this game when they went small, tbh... trying to match up against our bigs with Zaza and McGee was a disaster

Kawhi ting bricks at the sight of Matt Barnes
Porker will save us. He's saving his A-game for the 4th quarter.

Green playing solid D on Kawhi and frustrating him into a poor shooting night.
...we have to remember the guy wants to make his statement for DPOY... I forgot about that completely.

Warriors outrebounded 13-28 and still only down 3. That's scary for us.
    Our "big" advantage...

all of this is on Popovich. 100% on him. That dumb ass timeout started their run. I still don't know what the he was thinking

Your problem is you want to be easy. Most les aren't. There's no guarantee that the Spurs win it all, doesn't change the fact that they're really good and have a legit shot at winning it all. Just like last year even though they came up short.

    They also started exploiting matchups.

    worrisome
in that case... but I though precisely that is why they needed GAsol to get it going.
Mcgee was shaktin out there and was indeed losing them the game.

Warriors will continue to laugh about us in locker room, deservedly so. We should be destroying them.

There's no going around to the fact that our best player is 4-12, and only attempted 3 freethrows...

Kawhi gonna have to either start hitting or getting to the line...

Also, perspective.... we're playing a legitimately historical team that could easily be looking at a 3-peat right now...

They're 2-0 vs GS and up in this one tonight.

Pretty much the opposite of a guaranteed projected loss to them in May.

it. I said it before anyone else here over a month ago, but Kawhi's 3 ball is killing him. I was a little worried about it when I bought it up, but now I'm really worried about it. It's limited his game tonight by not even being able to hit the broad side of a barn. The defense is tight on him and he can't hit a 3 ball to loosen it up. Bad news for Kawhi and the Spurs.

To be fair, 5 of those misses are from three. He's actually shooting pretty well inside the arc. He needs to sit out like a week to get his legs back under him before the postseason.
