So after being beaten by the Warriors, Harden and Kawhi have taken hits. Does this mean Westbrook is in the lead? 57 point triple double is incredible even for a stat padder tbh. If Harden loses the MVP then the COTY should go to D'Antoni. He's the difference maker for the Rockets tbh, turning Harden into Nash 2.0.

Harden has a pretty healthy lead at this point, imo.

    Voting probably goes.

Harden gets 70% of the 1st place vote
    Westbrook gets 20%
    Kawhi gets 9%
    Lebron gets the 1%

Kawhi would be a lot closer if narrative was thrown out of the window. The great news for Spursfans, a WCF finish should get the Kawhi bandwagon rolling. He's prime to win one or even multiple MVPs if he plays at the same level for the next five years.

porker doing what he does best, if his not winning it, nobody on his team is winning it

basically gave the mvp and dpoy away in 1 night against the gsw, now kawhi has 8 games left is just out of the equation to do anything...

and I bet yah his going to pull that in the playoffs also, if his not getting any credit to win games or series in the playoffs, he makes sure u aint advancing

kawhi has to put up with this pos for 2 more years? lmao kawhi better look for a new team and forget about mvp or championships with the pos still on the team...

Like that's going to change the fact that Harden has had a significant lead over everyone.

He has it all. A 55+ win team, third seed, Strong narrative, strong stats.

Westbrook has the strongest narrative, the strongest stats but the 6th seed is going to hurt.

Kawhi would have had a decent chance had they been closer to 67 wins, but realisticly the probably end up with 61 or 62...

Don't think Harden ever wins again if they lose in the second round or first round. Media is going to eat him alive.

This was Westbrook best chance. The masses supported him, but that six seed stinks despite the fact that they're not really that far away from fourth.

I'm thinking this will be a landslide. The media is all over Frauden's nutsack, it's disgusting. Furthermore, he has a great personality unlike Westbrook. This robbery ranks among the worse of all time (Iverson over Shaq, Kobe over CP3, Malone over Jordan)

Didn't Nash win it too with Pringles as the coach? You gotta give Mike D credit, he builds the most fun regular season teams, tbh...

I don't disagree as we both now how the MVP voting works, that being said, I feel like Westbrook should get a pass. I've never seen dominance like this since Shaq in 2001. Russ is a couple of good teammates away from winning 55 games.

Westbrook's 4th quarter performances are helping his case, tbh..his last 2 4th quarters have been historically good..the media loves that type of narrative

Advanced Stat Gooks (half the voters) Hate Westbrook and magnifies his deficiencies.

Truth, I love the Advanced Stat guys, I really do. They're a significantly better breed than the the old hacks...

But Wesbrook is going up against a decent % of voters that have had inherent bias against him.

Not arguing for Westnrook though. I think He's third behind Leonard and Harden...

But if Westbook isn't going to win this year, he's never going to win.

I'd honestly vote for him because I dont like Harden and it serves Kawhi to lose this Race this year imo.

Can you Imagine the Spurs winning this year and Leoanrd peforming..

The narrative is going to shift on how super underrated he is :Cry

    Like no one gives props

He'll probably end up winning Multiple MVPs in the prcocess.

What I do find surpirsing though is that no one is giving Lebron Apology votes after that performance last finals..

In January he wasn't even in the race despite having the third best record in the league at that time, improving his shot, Kevin love missing games etc.

    Surprising.

If the Thunder end up crawling their way to the fifth seed I think Westbrook is the favorite. I can still see him winning it regardless but Houston having the third best record really helps him out.

All I see in them pics are a bunch of TOSBs. Would've been hard for any coach to make something outta that pile of .

NBA fans should be glad Kiwi got exposed at home as the fraudulent role/system player that he is. His chances were already slim at this point but this pretty much seals it for either Harden or Westbrook. It's bad enough that he robbed Draymond of a couple of DPOY's.

This would be a 2 man race between Curry and Lebron tbh. If Durant never went to Oakland and if Lebron actually gave a about the regular season.

Only the last one was a true robbery AI and Kobe had cases ...
Nash was a bigger robbery maybe even Rose over LeBron and i actually liked Rose before the first blown knee ...

    Last update:

    My picks:

    1-Kawhi
    2-Harden
    3-Westbrook
    4-Isiah Thomas

    How it will probably end:

    1-Westbrook
    2-Harden
    3-Kawhi
    4-Lebron
