As our Facebook feeds become saturated with video, the company is expanding its reach with more live sports. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Facebook has signed a deal with Major League Soccer and Univision that will allow it to live stream at least 22 regular-season games during the 2017 season. Facebook gains exclusive, English-language rights to these games that are typically only shown on Univision in Spanish. The first live-streamed game will feature Atlanta United hosting the Chicago Fire on March 18.

    NFL does this too.

It's funny that you guys are so desperate to win an argument, you'll spin this as a negative somehow

Nah, the "Please Watch Us" begging is reserved for soccer in the US. MLS ratings suck, EPL ratings suck, Men's national team ratings suck. Only time America "cares" is during the World Cup, watched more out of patriotism than anything else, like the Olympics.

Emoticon crew aka fail video crew always reaching. Reminds me of baseball players trying to reach their bungholes every game because they have nothing better to do.

Trust me, even those two clowns don't watch an entire game of baseball.

You have to combine the revenue of the top 3 Povertyball leagues to match the MLB's.

    Sad, indeed.

Individual MLB franchises have been signing multi-billion (with a B) dollar local TV deals for years now. There's been an explosion of money in the game thanks to TV. And povertyball fans actually think they're "desperate" for people to watch.

How many forms of soccer leagues are there? Jesus.

No wonder its so watered down to the point they compete with each other that it actually makes it hard for them to be followed.

He's actually still mad that our Expos moved to DC. But the good news is that the Expos are coming backPERIOD.

Yeah and they need to schedule 160 games per team to achieve that

Not to mention they have like 35 teams where about 28 of those teams are compossed of husloads of ppl
    Heading to fat camp

If you adjust to per game basis I doubt Fatball league beats dart league imo

Per game revenue is the same as the NBA.

Guess the NBA doesn't beat the darts league, either.

    Try again.

Got beat in the debate. Back to the "fatball" insult.

Let's debunk the fatball myth once and for all.

Soccer players are fatter on average at the upper-bound.

I already know what you're about to type.

"Those are Murrican soccer players, so they'll be fatter"

Brazilian study of soccer players. 14% body fat.

You guys just think they're in "good shape" because they don't have any mass, muscle or otherwise. Skinnyfatball indeed.

Its stupid to based things on league revenue. Soccer is way too popular with compe ive leagues everywhere. There's european league caliber Asian players that stay within their league because the money is already there.

    Its not even close.
