    Lmao, who cares we lost

Saw some good things, and fixable issues

Hopefully we see more good play from our bench on Wednesday and hopefully some Murray
This quote makes a lot of logical sense if it were January. Cmon man, the playoffs are this weekend.

The team is mentally weak. First sign of trouble and everything snowballs on them. Memphis is licking their chops right now.
Mentally weak I wouldn't say that more so there is nothing to play for right now with the seedings being locked up. Memphis will lose so it doesn't even matter. Anyways keep trolling away troll. By the way your troll game is pretty lame.

We had so many other worse losses than this. Orlando, Knicks, Mavs, etc...

    This is nothing
That's what I am saying. They botched it at the end but that wasn't a regular closing lineup by far. Just Pop giving experience to some guys.

Winners step it up a notch in the playoffs. A lot of these guys have won games in the playoffs and late in the post season. We will be fine. If not we will lose in the second round and won't deserve to play against the Warriors.

The team has been coasting, the question is can they just turn it up in the playoffs or if the bad habits continue. At least Kawhi is out of his 3pt shooting slump. Just need to hope Patty and Danny get hot at the right time.

None of you guys would bet money on the Grizz winning this series.

Doom and gloom over losses that mean absolutely nothing to playoff seeding, and not to mention they clobbered the Cavs a couple weeks back.

    It's a 60 win team.
    This isn't 2011.
Spurs are not losing to Memphis.

Yea.. But you overreaction is going to happen here no matter the cir stances.

Could be worse... We could be playing like the Cavs who have been playing with their full unit most nights and playing under .500 ball the last month and a half.

Yeah, I get the meaningless game spin. But "the end" was the the whole 4th quarter. Did we lift our shooting percentage to 25%? But before that yeah, it was great; our starters almost went toe-to-toe with the Blazers' scrubs. That second quarter was great.

It's weird we haven't come out blitzing teams (aside from the Warriors which we ended up losing anyway lol)

This is a different team this year. It's not like previous years where we would just dominate and put teams away early. Idk what it is honestly. It seems like we've had so many close games and come from behind wins this season vs previous seasons.

What I do like is the resiliency with these guys who have the composure to come back when needed, or play a gritty/tight game and come out on top.

Here's to hoping they saved some blowout wins for the playoffs...

And here come the Pop apologist posts.
Pop apologist? I personally want the er to retire. He's done, but these games are pointless really. we have the 2nd seed locked in. He's been throwing games all year. Why would he stop now at the end of the season?

Going to be a nice plane ride for the guys that gave that game away.
popovich knows they're trash. Anderson just got flew by on defense at the end of the game like he wasnt even there. Players aren't boxing out for reboudns and lee/anderson acted like they didn't want to pick up the ball. This game meant nothing. If we won, so what? we're not getting 1st place.

Yeah Pop was not playing to win. It was just strange to watch them make such critical mistakes with the game on the line.

The bad shooting spells will happen. Its inevitable that guys go cold. Davis and Forbes were off shooting and it's tough when they don't make shots bc that's their main thing. I was impressed the deep bench instead tried to get to the basket and were able to hang on despite the bad shooting. They made a lot of mistakes. Forbes was terrible, fouling a 3 pt shooter with the game on the line for example, TO the ball, etc. He's not going to be in that situation in the playoffs. Simmons in reality missed a catch at the end that he's very capable of making. Lee botched a wide open dunk or was fouled. They stayed in that game until the end though. Dedmon didn't have a good game for example. It's valuable for those guys to be in that situation and value possessions as well as feel some pressure and good for Pop to evaluate too.The starters are indeed the ones to worry about. This looked like the Lakers game but not as bad in terms of the hole the bench had to dig through. The Lakers one was really depressing but then Forbes and Patty were awful shooting in that game: 3-10 and 2-8respectively. It's my worry with Forbes. When that shot is off, there's nothing else he can do for you.Anyways, the real rotation guys don't care too much at this point and their main thing is to get some rhythm and stay healthy. The bench competes higher despite their limitations bc they are competing for a spot and to stay in the league pretty much. There's really no situation where they should be coasting ever at this point in their careers.

The spurs seriously need to have a fire sale in the off season. Parker, green, anderson, forbes, and Aldridge for whatever they can get

Fully on board with a major roster shakeup if they lose before the WCF..

Parker maybe still untouchable no matter, but you gotta look at moving Aldridge or Pau and Green (sad face) in a trade to acquire a starting PG (even 2nd tier ones like Bledose, or Hill, Holiday in FA etc).. I can't take anymore fools gold regular season teams getting shown up in the playoffs..

"Nothing to play for" posts after a late season loss usually come from mentally weak posters who can't think of anything intelligent to say. The GS loss was the straw that broke the camels back. The offense for the most part has been abysmal since. Losing a game with your A-squad against an opponents F-squad is embarrassing in itself but, when you couple that with a loss to the tanking Lakers at home when the A-squad put the Spurs in a 26 point hole is shockingly pathetic for a team with championship aspirations. While the Grizzlies may not beat the Spurs, they got the match up they wanted. The Grizz are playing with house money and they have enough talent to make the series far more interesting than a Spur's homer would like to admit.

Oh, and that Lakers loss is the reason the Spurs had nothing to play for.

He's basically turning into Jerry Sloan. The one trick has since retired leaving Pop without a pony.
