My point is that it is the hotspot for strategy in the game. You don't want other players to have it either.

Correct. You build from the inside out, not the outside in. Australia is one of the last places you should be worried about in Risk. Mideast is important because of its central geographic location connecting it to all the other continents of the Old World.
like the good kind of goulash or the bad kind? The original authentic European goulash has just pasta, rice, tomato, onion/leek/scallion, and salt and pepper. No meat, no cheese -- this isn't lasagna, after all.
Then you have the American goulash crap that tries to be some kind of phony lasagna. Meat and cheese do NOT belong in goulash.

Wait wait wait.....before anyone debates you any further along this line of reasoning, answer this....do you believe the earth is actually the shape of a Risk board or not?

Also, Muslims ethnicities (Arab, Turk, Persian, North African) when you combine them together are procreating the 2nd fastest out of any race group after Hispanics in latin america. One child policy has really stymied Chinese growth over the decades. So the % of Muslims is increasing, and it's definitely not the "least populated" -- it's about 17-18% of the world that are Muslims, that's almost 1 in 5!

See to me that's just pasta casserole. I guess you can call it "American goulash". But the original ghaulash I grew up on has no meat or cheese.
