I think it's just a spoiled fan base tbh. Spurs have been good for so long, 1st and 2nd round isn't a big deal
I'm not sure food and drinks do the trick, people might get angry that they're basically forced to buy something they may not want.
If you build some high-security cages (like cashier's cages at casinos) right by the entrance then $20 bills might work after all. Scan your ticket to get in, pass by the cage, scan your ticket again, get your $20, be on your way. The digital infrastructure should already be there.

Or flights. Get on a 45m flight, everyone must have peanuts and a drink, it's life or death, hurry, rush the food out!
Except for the fact that if your ticket was free, and you need to be spotted a 20 to eat food, you need to be at your job stocking shelves or whatever.
lol raising ticket prices for Anderson and David Lee. KL is the only reason to watch. That's no lie. I you not, I was more interested in watching Westbrook choke away another series than watching the Spurs win last night. I mean, Gasol, Lee, Bertans? Seriously?
Aww, it seems I hit a nerve, go beat off to some pictures of your aunt, I am sure that will make you feel better.![]()
Good point. This is true for Pro Sports writ large.
Mexicans aren't as interested in Basketball Tbh
last night was bad. and that's coming from someone who knows how lackadaisical our crowd can be.
Do other arenas have music being pumped out when the home team is on offense? It's just odd and distracting. I don't know if this is the case in games being played in other NBA arenas. I should pay more attention. But I was watching the Bulls-Celtics game tonight and they didn't have the music because the crowd was already loud enough. I like Prince and all but save it for timeouts or the half time, not when Kawhi is running the pick and roll.
rocketfan has been far worse about playoff attendance tbh.
Funny, haven't really noticed
I've complained about this before. It's a reason I believe the crowd is so weak. Why cheer when the music is doing all the work for you. It's so loud you can hear it blasting though the tv speakers on every...damn... possession. It's pathetic.
Ugh I totally agree. It's like if you're at the club. I'm at a freakin basketball game, let the crowd make the noise and keep the music to time outs.
My question is how are they selling out the place at those prices. It's not like SA is especially affluent. If you think people aren't going to the games you're mistaken...huge crowd and very loud the whole game.
This may explain Manu's recent suckiness. He has lost interest for the game.
