It'll be on NBA.com eventually; , it'll be all over E!SPN and the internet in a few mins.
Rewinded to see the Kawhi/VC exchange again so was a few minutes behind but just saw it on TNT. Good on Pop. I like it.

Pop just called Kawhi the best player in the league.
Yeah that was nice to hear. Great for Kawhi's confidence not that he is lacking.

Daaaaaamn, Pop usually holds back but he called Kawhi the best player in the league right now
He knows who saved his neck in this series.
And anyone who thinks Spurs are trading Tony for anybody needs to backpedal.

I don't care much for Pau right now though.

ing Bonner just said that "looking at the numbers, I don't see how the Spurs won this game." Really? The Spurs won the rebound battle 46-28. And after a bad first half, they wound up with more AST than Memphis.

I hope you are right... tbh...
Me too.. We know they're going to score points, but I think it'll be easier for our guys as well.

Tony is off to a great start. He may have lost a step, but he's found it here in the first quarter.

Need someone else to step it up now. He can't be expected to play 36 minutes at this pace.

Well I was way wrong about that one. He didn't get 36 minutes, but he kept it going for a whole game. Without that performance from him it would have been back home for Game 7.

Rockets defense is going to seem nonexistent after Grizz.

Memphis just did the Spurs a favor. If I was a Rocket fan my diaper would be full.

This, it reminds me of that Dallas 2014 series. The rockets are Portland about to run into a bulldozer.

Whoever Harden guards should have inflated numbers across the board After grinding through the Grizzlies defense Houston's defense should be a sick joke in comparison.

Tony and Kawhi weren't going to let us lose this one, huge props to them for stepping up the entire series. Also nice to see LMA recover after the rough stretch, this series was a tough one for him with the tough bigs so hopefully he makes up for it in the upcoming games.

Brutal schedule with no extra days off until a potential game 7. Thank God the Spurs managed to win tonight to get four days off and there's little travel between SA and HOU.

If ESPN's stats are correct, for the series:

    Kawhi
    PPG:32 FG%:58 3P%:54 FT%:98

    Damn.

I suspect others have to step up.
The older legs in the team can get wearied out. That means the team has to spread the burden, specially Tony's. Lamarcu and Pau likely need to step up their scoring IMO.

Good point. they wanted this tonight. I think that is why Tony/Kawhi pushed so hard at the end. There is a chance even if the end up winning this series in 7.. the wear and tear, the physicality, likely bruises and affect them in the next round.
