I'll never forget the beatdown the Spurs gave to the Thunder last year in game 1. No reason to believe it couldn't happen again.

This is a combination of a lot of things.
They are shooting and making a fluke amount of threes.
We are missing wide open ones.
And some of our players are not up to this (Simmons, Bertans) and others are playing like and scared (Parker, Gasol, Aldridge, Green)

You've got to do what Memphis did in the second half of game two against the Spurs. If not, you give Houston supreme confidence going into game two and they could easily take that one too. You don't want to give a team full of shooters that much confidence. This could be a sweep if the Spurs don't show anything in the second half.

I can't stress how critical it is for the Spurs to fight back and win the second half convincingly.

Karl Malone &!the Jazz did this kind of routinely to the Spurs pre Duncan. Only they did it making layups and mid range shots.

I have been a Spurs fan since '94 so I remember those series. The Jazz destroyed the spurs but not as bad as this.

Shaq is absolutely right calling out LMA's weakness in the post against smaller guys. The Spurs don't want this frenetic up and down pace with the Rockets. That's D'Antoni ball in a nuts . If they could slow the game down and go in the post once in awhile it may be a different story. They're playing Houston's game right now.

They went away from Lamarcus bc he was sucking fiercely but then got worse. If LMA doesn't play well they are done.

LOL, no , I LOVE TIM DUNCAN, but if I was a player, I'd be demanding all the time. I love the humble approach of TD to stick with the team, but I would have demanded a trade or trading for players. If I'm Kawhi, I'd probably ask to be traded to somewhere like Boston. A team that is not full of old, washed up scrubs.

Boston also would have really been a good place for KD to go to IMO. He really could have raised his legacy there. They would have had a chance to beat Cleveland, IMO.
