How about that OKC guy who gave Beverly a forearm shiver the next game after he took out Westbrook?

It will be PG by committee. Mills will start and Murray will get some minutes. Kawhi and Manu will run some point, as well.

This reminds me a bit of what happened early in Spurs history when their best guard, James Silas, was injured late in the season.

The Spurs moved their skinny forward, George Gervin, to guard to replace Silas. It was unheard of at the time -- a 6'7" guard.

    The rest is history.

If dedmon or lee start, start patty

This would be a perfect chance for Murray to have an opportunity to assert himself as the next big Spur, but he just isn't ready at this point. Too bad

Murray. Though with what Simmons showed, he can be DG's backup and Manu can start.

Knowing Pop, he might start Murray but give him a quick hook for the most minor mistake.

Leonard is going to be a Point Forward. Gasol and Aldridge better be ready as release guys because they're going to double Kawhi.

Stop trying to overthink it sons.

Pop will start Patty and play him around 36 minutes per game, tbh.

Murray with a short leash? Patty and Manu sharing duties, Kyle getting minutes

I'd start Murray and hope he could buy the team nine minutes a half and run Patty for the rest of the time. If DeJounte can't do that, then I'd run with Manu as the de-facto PG with Simmons in the defensively.

Starting Simmons could also be an option tbh. Playing in front of his home town in a playoff game may get the best out of him; would also be huge defensively as he can guard Harden, Beverly, or Ariza competently.

That's what I'm thinking. Dijon will get torched first half game 3 and it's Manu from there on out
