Definitely Manu... he's fallen off a cliff. I have no issue with Tony satiating his hunger to score when it comes to the bench... but him and Patty together? No.

Anyways, as far as LA, he has been passing out the ball from shot opportunities. He's just not aggressive enough. Maybe he is struggling with the physicality and doesn't want to force things, or he's been told by the coaches to pass more (I could see this being a factor in his mind)
I'll be happy if Lamarcus shows up more aggression and spine for this next game.
i never liked tony + patty on the court, do not want to see that again.

    as far as la...
la needs confidence early. whether you want that kind of player is a different story.
i could be mistaken but i think he was 1 for 5 until:

he was in a little rhythm after that, knocked down some shots, ended the game 6 for 11.

the earlier la is engaged, the better.

patty/murray starting would take less shots away from la than tp... tp could be the scoring spark off the bench that manu isn't.

I doubt Pop even considers Murray.. but one can dream and he should consider at least some playing time for Murray somewhere.
Tony is actually more suitable to be a bench spark than Lamarcus is. I saw Pop try to keep a starter in when Kawhi sat. I didn't like when Kawhi sat and Pop tried to channel things through Lamarcus. Tony is actually an excellent choice at that moment and I think he was asked to be aggressive bc Lamarcus was passive or getting blitzed. It was a good moment for Tony to get aggressive. I don't dislike your plan however.

Pop needs to tweak things right now. If he has Simms/Anderson/Bertans with the bench, since they are less experienced, I actually love Tony's leadership with them bc Manu doesn't have the leadership at this point.. on the court where it matters. I want to see some type of adjustment... not Pop play the same guys the same way and just expecting them to execute better. After 4 games I think he can see that some guys just can't deal with this matchup, while others need to play more... and they are some younger guys.

Of course tp shooting more doesn't actually make us better. That's fools gold.

Dude has played 4 games in the playoffs. Dude is probably gonna have some "injury" issues next series.

This Parker vs Manu civil war the OP and several other posters have had going on for the last 3 years is pretty re ed. Manu has been crap in this series just deal with it. I'm on neither Manu or Tony's side. Both are inconsistent role players at this point of time. For this series Tony has been very solid we'll see what will happen in the next few games.
It's been going on for longer than that - there are a few TP lovers/Manu haters around (wont say their names you can judge for yourself - it's very easy) who don't love the Spurs - not great fans either

it's great parker knocked down open shots more so than he did in the RS.

that's literally all he did. he prioritized himself on offense to start games, didn't make the game easier for his teammates.

la needs a healthy amount of shots, last night he took 20... with parker, the highest paid player on the team was averaging 12

kawhi and gasol get la easier than tp

this isn't parker vs manu. manu has shot so terribly that words don't do justice.

this is about tony taking more shots than the highest paid player on the team. tony has shot worse than him btw.
this isn't manu vs tp. it's a little thing called "basketball".

YEAH !!!! Gambit i hear you man !!!

TP takes away SHOTS, RHYTHM , FLUIDITY , HUNGER , GENUINE INTENSITY , CHEMISTRY , CONFIDENCE , PASSION and EFFORT from his teamates !!! Now that he is gone , its like a black cloud has been lifted .

soon as TP is out of the picture LA all of a sudden is a diffrent player a much livelier , a more involved a more confident LA !!! Coz he knows the ballhog HERO is gone !!!

I play ball too tony is the guy that takes an extra second and half to give up the ball even if you are open it throws you off rhythm . And to have that all day everyday it does get old thus the lack of passion and effort from teamates .
