His defense on Harden was fantastic. 3 steals, numerous offensive fouls drawn, strong drives and smart passes, Spurs lose without him tonight. Nothing stood out that I hated about his decision making. Needs 30+ mins for the rest of the series.

    Pay that man

Spurs crowd needs a hype man like him to get them going.

Best perimeter defender on the team

This guy is good - I heard someone say he's 27 when I said I wondered what he would look like when he's polished... he isn't polished yet. Maybe next year he can be very very good - he's talented no question about it and has fire in him

I've been critical on Simmons on the past.

But after tonight.....I believe in The Juice!

It is really great to see, and I'm happy for him. He always had the energy and athleticism, just needed to use it under control. Hope he keeps it up

Really happy for him. Good thing the Spurs a chance to match any other offer he might get. Hopefully they can keep his lower cap hold on the books as an RFA and work out a fair long term deal (not breaking the bank as he's still a situational guy).

Next season if Parker is hurt:

    Mills/Murray
    Green/Simmons
    Simmons/Bertans
    Kawhi/Gasol
    LMA/Dedmon

Considering the defense he showed, put him in the SL and run him alongside Kawhi against smaller teams. Against bigger squads you can always run Simmons starting at the 2 and have Green come off the bench.

Simmons has been brilliant throughout the playoffs and you predicted he would show up against his hometown team a week ago. Way to go on a limb re .

What's next? Rockets will shoot a lot of threes?

He's a nice 4th wing, tbh..way too inefficient and erratic to be starting, hasn't shown any level of consistency during his time with the Spurs(there's a reason he wasn't a lock in the rotation, heading into the playoffs)..

Outscored your hometown hero in half the minutes that series. It was obvious his minutes were going up.

Go back to comic-con with the other weeaboos you ing loser

Pop is giving Simmons more burn than I expected, so maybe he will come back.
