Pounding the Rock is known for putting out commemorative t-shirts but they seem to be trolling the heck out of James Harden, or at least making $ at his expense with two of their latest t-shirt offerings.
Would be great to wear IF we didn't only play the Rox once every 20 something years.

I was about to say the same thing.

Man, you gotta think that if we end up beating the Rockets that Harden is probably going to be having nightmares about Spurs players blocking his shots..that is if hes not already having them.

I still remember when he gave us nightmares in the '12 WCF backdoor sweep, tbh.

Yes this is like the "you won't rook us" or "data" comments. Nice T-shirt but can you wear it now that you're eliminated?

Harden is actually a great player. He's too lazy to do anything real with it though. He can play great defense, we've seen it. He can play great offense, we've seen it. He's got great court vision and awareness, we've seen it. He's got a high basketball IQ, we've seen it. What he lacks is the wherewithal to corral all of that and stretch it out for 48 minutes. If Harden would just play his game, do what he does to get to the rim and get guys involved, he'd be unstoppable. Instead he starts trying to get cute with the forced bull fouls on wild ass flailing threes and that takes the team out of their rhythm. Then he just goes lazy mode, walking the ball up the floor and playing "whatever" ball.

Take 1st half Harden and compare to 2nd half Harden, it's like he's on break after the 1st half.

He's also on a fairly empty roster. It's not that they are a bunch of Scrubs, but on a team with the third best record in the league you would expect to have their star as an all star, at least one guy who was a former all star and a guy or two who's names were regularly in the conversation.

They have Harden and onlh Nene has ever even been close and even then it's been a few years and he never made it in a league of watered down bigs.

The Spurs have kahwi this year as well as Aldridge, Gasoline, Parker, and Ginobli, who are all former all stars. I don't claim that the voters always get it right but making the team does give a general idea of what class of player you are in. And sure three of those names for the Spurs are old as dirt but in the playoffs you would expect a former all star unless he had a career changing injury to have a turn back the clock game about 1 in every 4 games. So the Spurs have pretty good odds of one of those names going big next to Kahwi.

The all star argument has been debunked here. James didn't go full re because he lacked all stars. He left a team that had 2 other all stars for Houston. He the bed when he had more help. It's James, it's not the team. The team around him plays fine. I'd say they play better than fine.

So ing sad. Its come to this? I remember celebrating Championships not too long ago and now we have t-shirts with Ginobili blocking Harden's desperation shot? How about a T-shirt with Green clanking a potentialy game sealing FT? OR maybe Patty heaving a 3 pt attempt after the game clock has expired ? See where I'm going with this? Houston SUCKED just a little more than the Spurs last game. Celebrating plays, risky-ass ones mind you, that don't even end a series, is a little pathetic.

Manu made a great play, but it was only great because he wasn't called for a foul. It looked clean but when has that ever stopped a ref from giving Harden the FT's? I'll happily take the win but you can keep the shirts.

** On a side-note, Aldridge and Gasol's weak-ass interior play have completely shaded my enthusiasm for the rest of the playoffs. Watching the Spurs has become less about rooting for the team and more about yelling at those 2 pussies for getting pushed around by midgets. Throw in the stagnant offense and you basically have unwatchable basketball.

I have 0 expectations for a Spurs win tonight. I won't let them disappoint me. If they win, great. If they lose, I won't be surprised and I sure as won't think of Game 7 as any sort of lock. I went from believing the Spurs had a chance to win it all this year to hoping the Spurs get past a gimmicky Houston team. FFS.

This message brought to you by my disdain for all things Golden State Dubs. <- It just aint right, man. That team needs to be humbled.

For 's sake, the Rockets announcers are the worst in any sport. The lead guy has been there forever too. I had to do a double take because they were actually complimenting Duncan until they did their usual "He hammered him!" whining. He got all ball and then made contact with his arm after. That's not a foul, bags

How can grown men get so upset and be so blindly biased year after year over something so stupid as basketball?
