Kinda hyped to see what the "others" can do. Pressure on Houston. Spurs will win in a super low scoring game.

I was hoping for Kawhi to play on limited minutes tonight and increasing our chances to get those 5 days of rest...

I'm not the coach but Pop has been questionable at best this series.

Hope they can pull this off without him. If they lose game 7 someone is getting the blame.

Meh, I highly doubt Kawhi is ready to play if he's out. That's just a coach 'protecting' his player to the media.

If he reaggravate his ankle injury in game 6, we'd have ZERO chance vs goldenstate. Lose the battle, win the war type of mentalities.

Heard on ESPN just now that it was Pops decision and that Kawai wanted to play.
ing senile piece of . I knew it was his decision. Always trying to be cute, thinking he's some sort of mastermind playing the long game. You don't throw playoff games ffs. When is this dude going to learn.

Good point. Even if they lose tonight, he gets more rest for a game 7.

agreed. at worst he comes back for the game 7

this'll also give the rest of the team a chance to prove they're gutty worms w/o him

Right choice, the possibility of messing his ankle up more. Rockets favorited to in tonight no matter what.

Remember its the ankle and the knee. Good decision. Spurs weren't expected to win this series.

They're barely squeeking by HOU at home even with him, idiots. So you rest him for Game 7 and the Spurs lose anyway then what? You got yourself eliminated, gave yourself less chances to close them out bc you thought you were some kind of long game playing mastermind. GTFO.

No chance to win game 6 with him hobbled in Houston. This is the only way to go IMO. Game 7 Sunday will be epic.

Why the not? Because Lord Popo says so? Kawhi isn't 100% but he also wouldn't be playing on one leg. Take your chances with him at 80-90%. Absolutely no reason not to. Game 7 will still be there. Its not like playing him eliminates the possibility of a Game 7.

He's at 40% dude. 80% is what he was at before the injury.

No. Got off the team bus without a limp. Said he's finr and wants to play. This is a classic case of Poop being overcautionary because he thinks he's a mastermind that sees the long game that the rest of us minions cant.

In reality, he's just let his success get to his ing head.

If he was anywhere near 90% you don't think he would be playing?? Tim Duncan played the whole 2005 playoffs on a bad ankle, and his knee was wrecked in his later years. Leonard is obviously pretty damn hobbled. He needs a few more days of treatment. Play tonight, make it worse and lose..
