Anyone who doesn't see it is blind.

Best rebounder on the court today. Best playmaker. Amazing defensively. Not to mention kid can score.

What happens when he adds 20 pounds?

We need to keep Simmons too tbh. Some team like the Nets will probably offer him $20mil a year after these playoffs

Simmons would be wise to stick around and carve a place in the rotation OR he can get paid by some scrub team and go way of Gary "choo-choo" Neal.

I hated on the pick and was really down on his defense based on his college footage where he looked so clueless on team defense that wasn't him gambling that he looked far, far away from being able to stay on the court.

He has progressed so much, and was so much better on defense for awareness and mentality pretty much from training camp that it's incredible.

Glad he makes me look foolish. Something must be up with the coaching at that college because Criss has been better in the NBA also from what I saw.

He's still very green in my eyes. Flashes tons of potential at times, other nights he makes more mistakes. I'd say the upside is definitely there and he's had some big games for a rookie who wasn't really expected to provide anything this year. It'll all depend on how he develops but you'd think if he develops at all he's gonna be a heck of a player.

Murray needs to go to SDSU with the klaw and chip to run two a day practices with Kawhi. Put on a little weight and practice bringing the ball up the court against a two time DPOY and he'll be set to start game one!

Kid has alot of upside. Called him as my preferred pick for the spurs. Didnt think he would make an impact in year 1. He is ahead of the curve.

Why? He is a hard worker apparently.

Also - not scared of the big stage. Has swagger and believes he can play with anyone. Confidence is huge.

He averaged 5/2 on 36% for the Houston series. I agree he was promising but that's a pretty bad series overall.

The whole weight thing is stupid. It's basketball he is fine. Does he need to get stronger? No doubt. But he doesn't need to bulk up to play PG.

It might be a bad article bc it was from someone criticizing Dejounte, but they said the coach just coddles them and babies them, etc... (probably a way to recruit talent one thinks, though I won't presume to know about it bc I don't)... but basically the report was that the coaches are not very tough or demanding of their talent which leads to them doing whatever they want. There could be some truth to that in hindsight.

I learned the kid had usable length.

Other than that, way too quick on the draw.
Very glad we got him though, patience.
He took and made at least two really bad/tough shots tonight. He did snag some nice rebounds though.
