How far is KL from being the next "needs to sit" guy here on ST?
During Game 1, how long before we see re s posting that the Spurs would stand a better chance against GS without Kawhi?

    Over/Under: 5 minutes of gameplay
I'd take the over on 5 - maybe start of the 2nd. But, yup.

The Spurs were out of their minds, given the personnel available, but let's not pretend there wasn't an emotional mind given the aforementioned.

The Rockets lost their edge, got punched in the mouth, and the Spurs never let them recover - it took both things happening for that result.

Spurs ain't doing without Kawhi moving forward. The knee was concerning me before the ankle, just seeing the treatment and way he looked on the bench and court, and that's the most worrisome part, imho.

But there were a lot of LMA-Isos in the post.

I find so funny how people loved last LMA's game but if he would have missed all those many Isos he had against Harden and Anderson in that game, the same people would say " LMA, he stagnates offense"

If Kawhi-so works...he's the best player in the world. When he's injured or shooting poor... but but but he's hurting Spurs offense

    Crazy people
Dumpin the ball down low & settin an iso are different!

Maybe Kawhi gets in the way of LMA?

What does Kawhi do better than Simmons?

Kawhi gets the flashy steals but is always trailing his defender, Simmons stays chest to chest. On offense we are obliged to stare at Kawh-iso, its not good enough to win les plus it kills the energy of other players. Simmons participates in slash and kick, can hit open jumpers and is content on being a 4th banana.

Plus he won't have a huge salary and we can trade Kawhi for an elite point guard.

It's like some guys are JUST coming around to we were talking about two years ago and acting like it's new. As I've said before, some people just don't get the long game when looking at the team.

Are you trying to say LMA doesn't go ISO in many plays? I find so funny some people think that only perimeter players are Iso guys...

Kawhi's the best player on this team and the most efficient scorer...He's not in the way of anyone.

If he was healthy, we're up 1-0. The way we were scoring wasn't fluky. It was sustainable. Had a great shot a winning this , but all confidence is likely lost now. 95% chance we're gonna be down 2-0 before Kawhi comes back for game 3 on Saturday. Coming back from that against this team is gonna be nearly impossible. If anyone can do it, its the Spurs, but it's hard to be optimistic at this point.
