Our franchise is the most consistent of any EVER in the NBA. Do anyone ever question the patriots? There has been very few times we don't have a chance.

I think Kawhi's injury will linger.

    Doomed, tbh.

It`s over. Only chance was with stealing one of first two games. With KL out game 2, there is no chance to do so. Without him, we lack one defender to play against Durant/Curry.
Who knows maybe the Spurs win game 1 and lose the next 4. I expect a different team in game 2. They will atleast be a little more focused

Yup. After the glory of 2014, I've been a lot more stoic about the Spurs. Getting #5 really changed things for me. It told me the game hadn't passed the Spurs by, and that more les probably lay in our future. Right now, KL's health is the most important thing. Don't push it, Pop.

Kawhi's injury is the only reason I don't feel better now than I did after game 1 vs HOU.

You think he does that when he fills his gas tank, buys groceries, checks the mail, walks his dog? It's just a show for the fans. Copycat . Everyone has a schtick.
This is going to sound very class-less but I was so irritated with Ryan Anderson during that Spurs series and his bull threes that I hoped everytime he pointed to the sky his dead girlfriend would give him the finger telling him he should have given her more attention when she was alive.

We didn't have a chance unless we won out at home. So either way, we need to win both games at home. I don't think we can beat the Warriors now 4-1 after we drop game 2. We NEEDED to steal one at Golden State smh. If we can go into game 5 tied up Is our best hope right now.

This is not the time to toss in the towel. With or without Kawhi, gotta go even harder in game 2. Do whatever it takes to take that game.

    And Kawhi probably won't play.

Intentionally or not, Zaza ruined a potentially great WCF.

Not if Curry keeps getting open. I guess I don't understand how at times he shoots with no defender around him. If we can't fix that it's over. I know we can win without KL, we've proven that.

because many of his open shots from beyond the arc HAVE been consistently created by moving screens.

This was spurs in 5 with Kawhi, without him it will be spurs in 6 if he is ready to go next game or a game 7 tossup if he is ready for game 3.
All scenarios considering kawhi can return at least at 80%.

Spurs have this. Not one doubt in mind. Game 2 will either be close or simply a blowout. Come game 3, these golden boys will be in for a big surprise.

I definitely believe Spurs can win, as long as kawhi be back by game 3.

even if we're down 0-2, i don't care what anyone says, Spurs can take both games at home and make it a best of 3 at that point.

most people saying that even if KL is healthy by game, that we won't win 4 out of 5 against the warriors. That's what everyone says about the team that's up 2-0, especially if it's a top team. But we've seen it happen to our Spurs, we've seen a 73-9 team lose 3 in a row (1/3 of their regular season losses) in one series.

So im definitely not giving up.

As as far as game 2 goes, Since kawhi probably won't play, we need to shoot 65%+ to win. Every open shot needs to be made. And limit turnovers. Control pace. It will obviously be very tough, but will be interesting to watch.

The Spurs came back after 6 and damn near pulled off game 7. This is nothing in comparison. We still have a fighting chance if Kawhi returns for 3 and plays the remainder of the series

Kawhi plays and is fairly healthy we can win. Even LA wasn't a pussy as long as Leonard was out there with him. Game one was a good chance to sneak up on them but our size advantage and their lack of rim protection won't change. The fact we were outrebounded after Kawhi went out is why we lost and it's unacceptable. And the truth is if you could give LA Timmy's balls we would sweep these pussies.
