Well deserved praise for Jon. He really came to play.
but in general Pop elaborated that guys mentally just didn't believe they could win this and thus they didn't come out to really play. And he was emphatic that Lamarcus had to score the basketball, he was hesitating and passing up on shots. Just terrible. i don't think Pop wanted to single out anybody. Thus why he said Jon was in a category by himself, but obviously there are guys who have a bigger burden than others.
And who, pray tell, was responsible for identifying these model players for his system and signing them?

Atl Spur just has nothing else but get rid of Danny, LMA and Anderson. Clearly he doesn't like them but there is nothing else to his posts. ahhh maybe I was a bit sour by this game... normally I don't tend to be rude.
He took a lot of shots for his usual passive self and in a game where his jumpshot wasn't falling. I don't think he stopped competing. He missed shots.

I thought an argument could have been made for his lineups out there... but considering it really was Jon against the world... I will lay off on Pop for this one.
He will need to find playing time for Bertans and Dedmon... though Dedmon is limited he competes. Bertans is a really talented shooter and the team can use that. Up to Pop what he wants to do.
