sons I've seen some tape of this kid and he'll be a good fit in LA (might take some time to fit in). He has excellent size for a PG and can switch with defensively up to SFs (very important in this PNR league), he has good lateral movement and excellent PG instincts and game control, and on a team without leadership and many mouths to feed this is both a good pick and a good fit. Lonzo also sounds mature and composed for his age tbh, that's very underrated, such prospects evolve their game better (regardless of sport). Lavar will also take care to keep him on the right track. Sure, that jump shot is ugly but it falls as it is, it has a quick release and they'll rework it during summer league/ summers.
Imo you are all falling into this score-first nig mentality and are forgetting that the Lakers can score, they're just playing nigball and a floor general who won't and snitch will do wonders for us.

son you don't need to be a passive aggressive champ, if you'd bother to watch an entire game you'd see that he orchestrates a clean offense and makes the right plays without forcing the issue. He's a quality pick.
Also everybody (lebron, kwahi, peak howard, kobe,etc) gets beat/crossed/embarassed/dunked on .. it's a team game and players do multiple things at a time, it rarely is 1v1 and sometimes you get into a bad position, sometimes it's not your night, sometimes you're just unlucky. Also there is no hope to contain some of the fastest slashers without shadowing them with a good defensive big or trapping.

sons lonzo ball has a ing 7'0 wingspan on a pretty wide frame (he'll fill out quite a bit imo) with quick foot speed and is always composed (in game, outside game) in spite of his troll dad. Guarding SFs will be hard but for a switch or two his height and wingspan coupled with his good foot speed will be enough in 2-3 years.

My personal bias against Ball is his big mouf daddy. His game is just flashy enough to make Magic take him over a player like Fox. If I ranked the 3 PGs: Fultz, Fox, Ball.
Lonzo's biggest liability, by far, is his stick of a dad. What a ing clown.
