Is there anyway we could acquire him? Maybe trade LMA an Green? We need a Big down low, cuz Pop wouldn't know how to coach a small ball team I don't think. Or is there any other big man we could get? I'd take the Kanter or that white guy (Frank) with Charlotte at this point. Just get rid of LMA!!!!

Im sure Miami will just jump all over that one...especially with Anderson as the icing!

Lopez is a bad defender but he's a significantly better playmaker and post scorer. Lopez reboubds like a girl though.

Give them their choice of Parker or Gasol, too.

CP3, Kawhi, Whiteside as the big 3. Don't care who plays 2/3 or the 4 with those three in the SL.

Packaged with A couple of more pieces, probably so... I'd have to look at their full healthy roster.

No love for Kanter anyone? I'd take him, Morrow, an Roberson for LMA. Will that work??

Plus, why would you want any bigs from OKC?? They conceded rebounds to Westbrick all season long. If your point guard be they Russy, Magic, or Kidd is consistently out-rebounding your bigs, ya gots problems.

I love your enthusiasm for getting rid of LaMarsha, just not liking your plans...

I don't like LMA that's all! An ain't to many teams gonna want him after everyone has been putting him on blast for laying down while Kawhi is gone.

Before the Spurs can acquire meaningful talent, they have to have a direction. Are they going to be an isocentric team, a post up team, a transition team, a 3pt shooting team, some of each?

I think we need 3pt shooters, real ones with quick triggers. You can make up for a few missed shots with a couple transition 3s. Defense is great, but if you cannot score at the other end you're just losing to a lower score.

Play Bertans more, pay Simmons an Mills... Get rid of Paul, an trade LMA to some for good pieces. Build around Kawhi who can do all that. Post, midrange, an shoot the 3. "Just win baby "

But what do I know... I'd seriously trade for Melo. Kawhi, Simmons, an Dedmon could try to hide is bad defense.

** I agree with 95% of what you spoke.. I think this team just lacks simple players with playmaking ability off the dribble.. As I have watched all season and mentioned multiple times from commentators like ( JVG , Jalen Rose, Reggie Miller ) they have no one that can create their own shot, all need to be setup to take a shot.. Spurs have to play a certain way this season because of that, and is why you see the ball so dominated by KL... Once that issue is addressed I think you will see SPURS playin the 2015 way again..

When you only have Patty Mills, KL & JSIMMS as your only players that can do that, your in trouble.. And PM & JSIMMS come off the bench.

Would be only a matter of time before Spurs fans on this board would be giving Lopez the same love/hate thing they give to Aldridge depending on game to game performance.

Game 6 of the Houston series, Aldridge was everyone's darling and then after game 2 of this series, the same fans want him off the team.

The Spurs are almost going to have to pick up a bench guy without a huge track record, that they think has potential. I hoped that they had done that with Dedmon, and I still haven't given up on him. But going in and poaching a name-brand big man like that is going to be tough. They still have the PG slot to worry about.

I said it in another thread last night - I think they will be working the Euro prospects pretty hard this offseason. There are a bunch of young 7-footers, and a couple of them will likely be good in the NBA. The trick is knowing which ones. But that's what the Spurs FO is supposed to be good at, right?

I started this thread an you'll never find a list of me praising LMA!!! An as far as Lopez.... I'm just throwing names out there cuz big men ain't falling off trees these days in the NBA. He's the only other big that I know of with a low post gm.

Lopez is a better post player and 3-point shooter, but he's significantly worse at every other facet of basketball, tbh..even worse at passing the ball, which speaks volumes, since Aldridge is a horrid playmaker..

LMA AND Green for BroLo. LMA is a frigging enigma but I'd still take over Lopez. No way I would include Green unless they throw in the 22nd and 27th.
