Spurs win by 6 tonight
Well damn. But if he's not 100% then what's the point.
ing Pop... he's doing this for his own confidence and for the team to look foward to next season.... he believes less than us
Not worth his future. these pussies yet another break for the "greatest team ever"
Pop will get blamed for this even though Leonard said himself he has a lot of input on the decision. Obviously the guy is hurting and said if he's going to second guess taking shots or has to take shots off one foot then he shouldn't be playing.
Because kawhi at 75% is better than Kawhi at 0%.
2 healthy opponents in 3 years. Lucky gots.
I see ZaZa is out for tonight's game too. Hmmmm........
Preemptive strike by the Warriors to prevent any bad blood from spilling on the court.
Unfortunate. No one on sa has balls to mix it up
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Makes no sense to play him if he's gimpy. If the Spurs win tonight, it'll all be worth it assuming KL can play gm 4.
It's better to rest Kawhi for the long run rather than playing him if he's still injured to an extent. We don't want him to further his injury.
If we do right in the offseason we'll be ready for that sixth championship.
Very true. Kawhi is going to be entering his prime in the next season. He's going to be scary-good (even though he's already top 3 in the league right now).
their trying to clean their image by not bringing zaza and parading around steve kerr's corpse, so we can feel sorry for them
So this is how it ends huh, such bull
Well, on the bright side, if you planned on going out tonight, you won't have to worry about missing
Its stupid though, if this was the route then why did poop play him after the first tweak in game 1. I agree with the call tonight. He has to do it for psychological reasons as well as physical, but why wasbt kl removed in game 1 before the dirty play?
In addition to kl rest we get to see who will come to play after getting beat down and called out. Its the right move but questionable coaching in game 1
NBA will blame bad ratings on the Spurs and not Zaza
Totally agree. He should have never gone back in. But he may not have let on how bad the first tweak was as he wants to play and if you sit him at all it tightens up. Pop probably wanted to keep him in to keep lead above 20 till scheduled rest late in third and not have to play him in fourth. It backfired
