Wanted to get this in early... I started the 1st game of the season (against the Dubs, actually, and we won), so I'm hoping for the same result, hopefully with Kawhi in there.

    Date: May 22th, 8PM CT
    Venue: AT&T Center
    TV: BSPN

At this point, hoping Kawhi plays and we avoid the sweep. Also we might be sending out Manu in style...

^ Sometimes people get scared of simplistic/minimalist concepts. Argue things can never be that simple. Again Spurs weren't up big against Warriors in Game 1 because they were raining 3s and Warriors were just missing shots. They were dominating all aspects and Kawhi was the foundation. Zaza realized that and took matters into his own "feet".

    the Warriors.

Injuries are a part of the game. But take Curry and Draymond away and where would they be?

I just realised that the '99 Spurs playoff record 12 game win streak is at stake (the 2001 Lakers should have broken it, but they lost game 1 of the finals and had their streak stopped at 11). Cleveland is likely going to tie it, but Goldenstate can break it if they sweep us. I do not want Goldenstate to take our record as well as taking out Kawhi in game 1. That would not sit well with me at all. Got to do whatever it takes to win game 4.

Yes, injuries are part of the game such as the David Lee injury last night (which I can accept). But Kawhi's injury was no fluke, it was a deliberate/dirty act by Zaza.

GS can't take the record if they sweep. They can only take it if they sweep and win game 1 of the finals. Both them and the cavs have a high chance of tying it if they both sweep their series. In that scenario one of them will get the record. It sucks but it looks like the spurs will lose the record.
