Now I feel bad![]()
He looks like Pop took his puppy away.
In truth if he can go I want to see POP let him play. Even if they lose the series I'd like to see the Spurs take game 4 to show everyone how bag Zaza screwed the Spurs and GS got lucky with a dirty play.

Absolutely. I think if Kawhi can play (as in healthy enough to play) and he wants to play, then you let him play.
If he's healthy, he needs to play game 4. No harm in tiring out GS a bit for Cavs.
The finals don't start until June (not sure if you already know this), so the Spurs would really have to extend the series to a minimum of 6 games at least if they're going to tire them out, otherwise, the Warriors will still get plenty of rest.
I think you let him play Game 4 and play very close attention to how he reacts
Obviously the team needs him but I dont want him ending his season behind the in bench
Win or lose, with him playing reg minutes or hes gotta sit early, whatever situation im okay with that
But its a home game & Kawhi has at worst deserved the home court sendoff from the fans on his final subs ution
Hes been nothing short of phenomenal this year
True. Don't see it going to six without Kawhi, so your right.
Lol @ playing him in game 4.
Look, we're not winning 5 in a row against a 70 win team. Why risk our future just to show them how the series "possibly could have went"
his ankle was badly sprained less than a 1 week ago, after being sprained 1 week before that. One more sprain and he can have ligament damage
time goes fast, next season will be here before you know it.
Hope he realizes it's for his future and it turns out like it did for TD.
You only have to win 4 in a row but if they can get the Kawhi from game 1 that might make the difference. The Warriors don't come back in game 1 if he's healthy. In the playoffs you need guys who can score or get to the free throw line to stay in games or hang on to leads. They don't have that right now without Kawhi.
This. No need to have Kawhi go out there even at 90% just for some fans' pride. Hopefully some better bodies will surround Kawhi next season and he'll be on a warpath to the finals. He's proven he has that killer instinct of a Jordan, Duncan, Bird, Kobe (as much as people hate it). The second Kawhi was announced as out for game 3, I knew a sweep was coming. Accept it and be ready and excited for a fiery Leonard next season
He'll feel better in 2 years when he'll be throwing out as many assists as LeBron, a better shooter & a better defender.
No harm. Yeah, just you know, Kawhi's future.
I've got mixed feelings on seeing him play Game 4. Part of me wants to see him beat the Warriors but winning 4 straight has been historically impossible. So...another part of me doesn't want to give the Dubs the satisfaction. The last time he left the floor, the Spurs were up 23 points in game 1. you Dubs, the Spurs were a legit threat to take you down and we'll never know because of your clumsy, dirty goon. Take your weak ass victory and go get the beating you deserve from the Cavs.
How is this any different than happy kawhi
Someone give him a coloring book and some crayons. That should put a smile on the re 's face![]()
Speaking of Jordan, seeing him sit behind the bench looking miserable reminds of the time Jordan missed most of the season in the mid-80s with a foot/ankle injury. Hopefully, Kawhi comes back with a vengeance like Jordan did.
This is maybe the only type of scenario IMO where a team can come back from 0-3 in the NBA. If a team's best player is out the first 3 games of the series and then comes back healthy, I think that's the way a comeback like that can be made. It just depends on whether or not Kawhi is healthy.
