I rarely post but this whole debacle has me pissed off. The Spurs have the backbone of some sorry as mother fudgers. They come out looking all deflated and with sad looks on their faces. BOO ING HOO Kawhi's ankle isn't 100% let's all give up and roll over and die. On top of that Pop is making some dumbass decision by sitting out Kawhi. If Kawhi is 80% which it sounds like he is you play his ass. If he rolls his ankle again you have 3-4 ing months for rehab. Not just any 3-4 months, 3-4 months of the best damn doctors and rehab techniques that even money can't buy. You're telling me Bruce Lee can come back from a Spinal injury and do back flips and but Kawhi won't come back if he sprains his ankle one more time GTFOH and if anything Pop you should have taken him out them moment he rolled on David Lee's ankle, yet you let him stay in the game.........WTF

Brad Stevens and the Celtics just shook up the world and beat the Cavs on THEIR OWN floor without their best player. Proving all other fans and the media wrong with a big YOU to everyone's face. Don't get me wrong I love Lebron and worship him as the next Jordan, but I see this and then I see my Spurs and I can't help but notice that some players are playing like some ass s and I know the only ass s in this series are the warriors. On top of that Pop is acting like a shrewd old man by conservatively saving Kawhi.....saving him for what? Your season is on the line you gear up to win now.

The logic of we only play Kawhi at 100% or not at all is ing stupid. I greatly admire and respect Pop but a 100% Kawhi is at risk of injuring his ankle just as much as a 90 or 80% Kawhi is, it's a risk that comes with playing the game it may or may not happen no matter the health of the person. So I hope to God pop quits being a right now and plays Kawhi which will hopefully snap this scared ass Spurs team into some sense and we win the next 4. Take some notes from the Celtics on how to beat superior talented team, put some war paint on and come out like some lions and up. I'm done with myrant and will probably never post again unless if something of this sort happens again.

Why didn't Kyle Lowry play (yes I know he's a FA)?

The fact that Kawhi rolled his ankle twice after coming back shows he's unlikely to make it through the rest of the postseason without a scare. Unless you get 110% Kawhi, you're not beating the Warriors so why give them the satisfaction of beating Kawhi and risk injury?

Move on to next season. Cavs were super motivated last year after losing to GS without Love/Kyrie. Channel that energy of knowing how close the team was when healthy.

It should send a message to Buford. All the contenders have great backcourt depth while our most consistent guards are 15+ year vets that can't bring it like they used to every night. It's been a glaring weakness for 3-4 years now and we continue to ignore it while searching for soft bigs instead.

we differ in our mindsets my mindset is i fight until i die with everything i have, which can be correlated to a sporting event.
but by your logic even if kawhi plays we can still easily say kawhi wasn't the same so that would excuse us for losing. Also tony's obese ass would have been of help another thing to fall back. I feel a 80% Kawhi is good enough to beat this warriors team, a compromised Kawhi we were up by 40 at oracle

He's hungrier. Pop needs to do a Pat Riley and go upstairs and let a young hungry coach take over. One that will have some accountability and will bother to answer reporter questions.

They have younger horses than we do. They have players who fit into that system better than the ones we have and they are hungrier (which looks like a more formidable pace and space when IT isn't holding onto the ball + being a defensive mismatch). With the exception of the loss of IT (who's loss looks more like addition by subtraction), they have the horses to scare Cleveland probably one more game. But Cleveland should have won and they would have if Lebron didn't look human tonight.

To get the kind of backcourt other contenders have, you have to get in the lottery, a place the Spurs haven't been since the late 90s.

I disagree tbh. There's some stupid GM's out there. The Celtics, Cavs & Rockets got Isaiah Thomas, JR Smith, Shumpert, Korver and Lou Williams for peanuts.

The guards are there. Unfortunately we have the most conservative GM in the league. His big deadline acquisition was literally Joel Anthony.

I've spent hours looking for the teats on the almond. Nothing.
